Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 14 → 3.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

When I got this in EA, it didn't have Secure Boot & TPM 2.0. Now it does. My cpu cooling software doesn't work if I turn it on so... yeah... unplayable now. Wasted money and a game I can't play.
This COULD be one of the best VR games of all time. However, the DEVs seem to ingore nearly 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ years of Battlefield balancing issues. Heres a short list of everything that is insanely frustrating: - TTK is miliseconds. This is annoying in most normal games, INFINITELY more annoying in VR. - To add to the milisecond TTK, there is no visual indicator of your health except next to your gun. So you get no actual feedback when you get shot. - The Gun balancing in this game is ABYSMAL. In some sick and twisted torture fantasy of the devs, unlocked guns are objectively better than the weapons you start with. Who ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does this??? If you want to make your game a ragebait simulator for new players, this is a great idea. - Similar to battlefield games, most games are STEAMROLLS. This is due to the power of the vehicles, and the insanely fast TTK. - The helicopters are the cheese machines. You can have 6 dudes repairing the vehicle INCLUDING THE GUNNERS. All passengers can also shoot lock on & free fire rockets. Battlefield 4 fix this issue like 14 years ago. On top of the repairing thing, the bullets have sudo aim-hacks. Once the bullet hits the ground, if anyone is near the impact point the bullet auto-richochets and kills you, nearly instantly. I get that this is done to make the helis easier, but the helis are the POWER VEHICLE. They should be hard. Remember Seige Of Shanghai matches with a really good Viper pilot? - For a game that is bascially directly inspired by BF3 & BF4, they seem to not remember how that game was balanced at all. - The progression is painfully slow, especially when the starter guns objectively suck. There is also a remarkably limited amount of weapons for a Battlefield type game. - Spawns have 0 protection from camping. Limited cover, open roofs, and the "Border" that prevents players from entering your spawn is quite small. This allows for teams to fly helicopters and park tanks directly infront of your base. - Speaking of camping, snipers get a gun that 1 shots you to the CHEST. I have been cross mapped multiple times, not sure if thats a cheating thing or what. - Also on 1 shot guns, there is a pistol that 1 shots you. Or maybe it two shots you? Doesnt matter, you only hear the first shot before dying. - SMGs are jokes. A rifle can 2 shot you, I've hit a dude 5 times in the head without him dying. - There is a new Medium sized map with 1 AA Tank for each team. This makes flying bascially impossible. Does'nt help that its one of the only vehicles in the game to have two weapons (Cannon & Locking Missiles). - The Armored jeep has no armor. - THE DAMN STAIRS CLIP ALL THE TIME, USE A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RAMP INSTEAD OF INDIVIDUAL STAIRS IN THE COLLISION GEOMETRY! - There is an Anti Air Launcher, but no Anti Tank (with locking). A javelin would be nice. - There is no Smoke grenades. I assume this is because of the Syncying difficulties involved, but being able to cut off a sightline would be very very very very nice. - Kids, 14 and under, makeup 50% of this games playerbase. All you hear is is children screaming. - The voice chat system is very annoying. You hear your squad members CONSTANTLY, and with no filter or anything. You also hear your teammates that you are near at the same volume and also with no filter. You also hear enemies at the same volume and no filter. Please for the love of god add a radio filter and make it so you have to PPT to speak over a radio channel. I'm sure there's more, but this is just a few things I've noticed after the couple hours I've played. 90% of this game is just spawning and dying within 5 seconds. I think this game forgot that its in VR, and that requires some special considerations when balancing wepaons and maps... If the DEVs want to reach out I'd be happy to go over more things in detail, this game has insane potential and I've wanted a BF VR game for so long, but this is genuinely so unfun to play most of the time I had to say something.

Honestly? The game is terrible in its current state. I'll go over the most glaring issues. Helicopters - First and foremost, the helicopters, they are unfathomably overpowered. I hit two rockets on a little bird, then it just landed and repaired, that's 2 rockets excluding the rockets I had to waste because of its flares. Then all the pilot has to do is find a safe place to land and repair. There have been MANY times throughout just 4 matches where I've been instantly killed, with the kill feed saying it was a helicopter that killed me, despite there being no helicopter in sight. (not to mention you also need a few seconds to lock on) Spawning - The spawning is just straight up bad, over the course of around an hour (3/4 matches) I can count maybe 5 or 6 times where I've spawned pretty much right on top of an enemy, this doesn't include the times I've spawned moderately close to an enemy or a camping tank. Community - I don't even have to say much here, from toxic kids and adults, to people screaming down the mic, to people wasting time camping helicopter spawns, forefront has it ALL. Performance - For reference, my PC can run DCS World VR on medium-low settings, blade and sorcery high settings. But near maxed out settings on this game I often drop below 72fps and on top of that there are tons of random stutters which just ruins the immersion and experience. Progression - Maybe if this was a flatscreen game it would be fine, but it's not, it's a VR game and it expects people to put in as much time as they do on a flatscreen game to progress to an equal amount. I simply cannot sit grinding for hours a day just to get a scope I like, or a gun I like. It's extremely limiting for people who cannot play VR for long periods. Balancing - Besides tanks and helicopters, there is absolutely zero balancing by the looks of it. I very rarely have a game where it feels like both sides are making a good effort, it's almost always one team that absolutely dominates the match, which, leads me to believe I'm getting put in teams of high level players and going up against novices, or vice versa. Alright, all that seems very negative, and it is, I really wouldn't recommend this game in its current state. But I'd be doing a disservice if I didn't also acknowledge what the game does well. Gun Play - I actually think the gunplay is very fun and intuitive, despite what other people say, the gunplay I find, is extremely fun. Kills / Addictiveness - Getting a kill is absolutely exhilarating, it just scratches that part of my brain so much. Vehicles - I really like how the vehicles handle, unlike what some other people have said, I think the game does an incredibly good job and implementing vehicles into VR. (not referring to balance, just handling) Overall Gameplay Loop - This is the bread and butter of forefront I'd say. It does an incredible job at capturing the whole battlefield gameplay loop, when you get a good match, it really is a GOOD match. I'd overall rate the game in its current state a 5/10, I simply cannot get a consistently fun experience with this game whatsoever. If all the balancing issues and such were fixed I'd easily give it an 8/10, but I sadly cant get consistent enjoyment.
Really like it, but can we add smoke Grenades so its not for 60 IQ Boomers and kids spawncamping and blind rushing? Thx.
The devs have a really bad attitude.
Want to play 1000 health, no tactical gameplay, run and gun this is for you. People are moving like keyboard and mouse on this game, maybe because I'm using default controllers no stock. The bright icon going over heads to see people from 1000 meters away is no skill. I wanted to be able to camp near a rock, and shoot from 200 meters with a rifle, but if you shoot someone twice in the head they still live or they see the bright icon over your head. You have to listen to 30 year old +/boomers who have nothing going for them in life, take their anger out on everyone in the game. Then you have to listen to the annoying little kids who should not even have a mic with all these preds in the game. If you think Call of Duty and Battlefield is trash with mouse and keyboard, this game is the same. Ill stick to the tactical skilled VR games.
they use ai """art""" in their steam cover, and force kernel level anti cheat onto everyone. and while this is honestly expected for popular vr games at this point, but it is filled to the brim with bigoted 10 years olds.
why do i need secure boot and TPM 2.0?
Батла у ВР, здивував величезний онлайн що рідкість для ВР ігор. Гоафіка краща ніж на скріншотах, розробники забули оновити скірншоти після бети. Гра чудова!
This game isn't new player friendly at all. there is no skilled based matchmaking, so new players are put in lobbies full of people who have been playing since the release. Along with that, constant bunny hopping so that only the person shooting at you can hit you, (even though the devs said they nerfed it) Helicopters wipe squads off the map, snipers killing you across the map, i could go on. The community is TERRIBLE. It's mostly just little kids who are constantly saying slurs, and with the new dragging mechanic, those same kids are using the feature to have sex with the corpses (one kid saying that he liked to rape the corpses). The game can be fun sometimes, but you need a good team for that, which is practically impossible. All and all, i wouldn't recommend getting this game, at least until skilled base matchmaking is released, which it probably wont
