Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.83/day in the week to Aug 6 → 31.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
BALL x PIT is a fast-paced fantasy roguelite where heroes must find the balls to plunge deeper into a seemingly bottomless pit of monsters. Develop arcane ammunition and resources in pursuit of treasure, recruiting additional heroes to aid you in your perilous quest.
Ballbylon has fallen. After a meteoric and completely unexpected event annihilated the great city, all that remains is an ominous, yawning pit. Treasure hunters from far and wide flock to the city’s tomb to seek their fortune, plumbing the depths in search of Ballbylon’s scattered riches. Few return.
The pit plays host to armies of barbaric creatures, hellbent on ending your quest before it even begins. Armed with a growing arsenal of magic-infused projectiles, batter your way through multiple levels of increasingly challenging obstacles to claim the ultimate prizes and rebuild New Ballbylon.
The Ball Fusion system encourages explosive experimentation with over 60 randomized balls to equip and combine during your journey. Discover overpowered combinations and unexpected synergies from hundreds of possible outcomes.
Expand New Ballbylon with over 70 unique buildings that provide gameplay bonuses and unlock further power-ups, new characters, and more! As your community grows, task homebound heroes with automated tasks to keep the resources coming while you dive deeper into the pit.
Face legions of diverse enemies within the pit, battling through barren deserts, frozen caverns, savage forests and more. Each region offers its own unique set of hazards on top of hordes of increasingly challenging foes and mighty, screen-filling bosses.
As you explore the pit you’ll encounter fellow treasure hunters eager to add their skills to your expedition. Each character has unique, upgradable mechanics that totally change the way you play the game. Experimentation and adaptation are crucial to the success of New Ballbylon!

Simple premise, satisfying progression system, and a banger soundtrack. This game is VERY easy to lose several hours to - I highly recommend!

After all those positive comments i expected more from this game. First of all: its not bad. i would prefer to give it thumbs sideways. The game is insanly repetetiv. There is barely any difference between the levels, it feels all the same. The only real difference comes from the various characters, of which two basically play the game with reduced or even no interaction of the player. Additionally its hard to try out new stuff, since you will simply not get the stuff you want. I tried to get certain item combinations 10 games in a row and one of the items simply never showed up. And the final issue with this game: There is no point in experimenting all too much. There is an endless mode, which in theory allows you to use all that strength you got. BUT, this mode is useless, you get nothing out of it. So you end up running each level with a few characters upgrade houses and either finish the game within the first ten hours of playtime or end up getting frustrated over stuff that doesnt show up and repetitive levels (as i did).
The game is decent for its price, but becomes repetitive extremely quickly. There's a large lack of variety in just about everything, more fusions would help a lot. The 'difficulty' needs something other than mobs becoming massive damage sponges which inevitably results in all builds/runs turning into "did I get something that instantly kills or % based damage?"
3/10 A top-down arcade shooter where your bullets so happen to bounce a little. I was really hoping for a more strategic game where you carefully aim your shots to make them bounce between targets over and over. Instead, it's more of a rapid-fire spray-n-pray shooter that is focused on avoiding incoming fire while collecting items strewn across the ground. The balls bounce a few times, but you'd hardly notice it if they didn't. Meanwhile, the gameplay is interrupted on average every 3 to 10 seconds by a level-up screen where you choose between upgrades so similar in end-result that it would have been far better if they were randomly chosen so as not to keep pausing the game over and over. There's a lot of other little annoyances as well. The above-ground base-building elements seem to exist solely to pad out the playtime, adding nothing to the experience. The music is generic and subpar. The confirmation buttons being labeled as "Whoa" and "Cool" are insultingly immature even for a game like this. All in all, it feels like a cheap phone app, and overall more grating than enjoyable.
fun
Ok so this game is absolutely beautiful, colours are great the look is really good and the effects are amazing, actually 10/10 art I have no idea how I could improve it. I only played for like an hour but I got put off by the gameplay loop. It's like brotato but with less randomness, less decision making, and less skill expression. I haven't seen that many of the combos you can make but the idea of having to wait a really long time to see them and then having the combos be limited to 2 at a time felt really weird to me, and the item / ball limit means that you only get to see like 12 balls in a run and 4 items in a run, and you could probably just look up a build that's good and that's it, like the progression ramp is too smooth maybe. Also I was put off by the farming mechanic in between levels like its cute but as a side minigame not something that locks progression. I could see how this would be really fun for some people but its just not for me.
