Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.83/day in the week to Aug 6 → 31.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
BALL x PIT is a fast-paced fantasy roguelite where heroes must find the balls to plunge deeper into a seemingly bottomless pit of monsters. Develop arcane ammunition and resources in pursuit of treasure, recruiting additional heroes to aid you in your perilous quest.
Ballbylon has fallen. After a meteoric and completely unexpected event annihilated the great city, all that remains is an ominous, yawning pit. Treasure hunters from far and wide flock to the city’s tomb to seek their fortune, plumbing the depths in search of Ballbylon’s scattered riches. Few return.
The pit plays host to armies of barbaric creatures, hellbent on ending your quest before it even begins. Armed with a growing arsenal of magic-infused projectiles, batter your way through multiple levels of increasingly challenging obstacles to claim the ultimate prizes and rebuild New Ballbylon.
The Ball Fusion system encourages explosive experimentation with over 60 randomized balls to equip and combine during your journey. Discover overpowered combinations and unexpected synergies from hundreds of possible outcomes.
Expand New Ballbylon with over 70 unique buildings that provide gameplay bonuses and unlock further power-ups, new characters, and more! As your community grows, task homebound heroes with automated tasks to keep the resources coming while you dive deeper into the pit.
Face legions of diverse enemies within the pit, battling through barren deserts, frozen caverns, savage forests and more. Each region offers its own unique set of hazards on top of hordes of increasingly challenging foes and mighty, screen-filling bosses.
As you explore the pit you’ll encounter fellow treasure hunters eager to add their skills to your expedition. Each character has unique, upgradable mechanics that totally change the way you play the game. Experimentation and adaptation are crucial to the success of New Ballbylon!

The game is decent for its price, but becomes repetitive extremely quickly. There's a large lack of variety in just about everything, more fusions would help a lot. The 'difficulty' needs something other than mobs becoming massive damage sponges which inevitably results in all builds/runs turning into "did I get something that instantly kills or % based damage?"
Ball X Pit truly feels like one of the last real **"video games"** out there. It’s a gem of modern gaming — a game built around genuinely fun mechanics rather than endless fluff. On top of that, the atmosphere is amazing. And somehow, the lore is deeper than Elden Ring XD
The balls getting stuck on enemies bug is literally game breaking. Numerous ball types are supposed to pierce enemies, but instead they simply get stuck on them and stop bouncing. Even types that aren't supposed to pierce get stuck. It is completely game breaking, and until this is fixed I can no longer recommend this, despite the free update. It must be fixed or it is unplayable.
I would say I am usually a sucker to rogue-like/rogue-lite game so I was hype for this game. But surprisingly this game is not addictive at all, not to my liking. It has a nice creative theme about pinball x rogue-lite game. combining the weapon is nice. But that is all good thing in my opinions. The gameplay is repetitive. the theme of pinball turn out to be too sleepy to play, kind of pinball x bullet hell but all you do is moving around. the rogue-lite element turn out to be too grindy. There are multiple levels and a lot of characters to play with but somehow it felt the same. The game is not all that bad but if I have to vote, I would not recommend this. maybe 5/10
After all those positive comments i expected more from this game. First of all: its not bad. i would prefer to give it thumbs sideways. The game is insanly repetetiv. There is barely any difference between the levels, it feels all the same. The only real difference comes from the various characters, of which two basically play the game with reduced or even no interaction of the player. Additionally its hard to try out new stuff, since you will simply not get the stuff you want. I tried to get certain item combinations 10 games in a row and one of the items simply never showed up. And the final issue with this game: There is no point in experimenting all too much. There is an endless mode, which in theory allows you to use all that strength you got. BUT, this mode is useless, you get nothing out of it. So you end up running each level with a few characters upgrade houses and either finish the game within the first ten hours of playtime or end up getting frustrated over stuff that doesnt show up and repetitive levels (as i did).
