Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Even after 20 years, I hadn't finished it. Now I'm on my second playthrough and easily one of the best games I've ever played after all this time. A masterpiece.
Yes! Awesome, great, good. But PLAY BG1 FIRST. It can be played as a standalone adventure, but really it's way better to play BG1 before touching this, because it picks up afterwards with the same characters, references the events of the first game, and even can carry over some things including your previous character for continuity. Both games are capable of running on a potato, too, which is nice to not worry about.

This was truly a wild ride took me 300hrs split between the 2 games ( and a whole lot of save scumming) to finish the bhaalspawn saga i never felt this attached to a main character like this before especially after the throne of bhaal ending the choice u get at the end is one of my favorites choices which i didnt even know i wanted until i had it save to say i loved the ending and the sheer amount of role playing options and the rich and deep lore( and in my opinion the best rpg story) with a combat system that feel so good to experiment with "although it becomes annoying sometimes when the enemy is suddenly immune to everything" makes this the greatest rpg game of all time and i believe everyone should at lest experience this master piece once
BG EE's pathfinding is as bad as it was in the 1998 BG1 release, and EE doesn't properly support portraits. I don't see what they have "Enhanced" other than adding windowed mode.
Everyone knows this classic. Just as classic as ever!
For it's time a god tier game, even for modern day games worth a play for people who like the genre but haven't played it.
BG1 and BG2 are the best games of all time. I'm 100% certain that there is no nostalgia in my opinion.
This game is great. The story, the sidequests, everything!
