Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance can feel very dated at times. Long dungeons with lots of enemies that leads to no real reward. Very long runbacks after using Recall. Economy that makes zero sense. The final ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss being immune to my chain lightning. Tons of stuff that can be frustrating. But, it is still a great co-op game that you can play with someone and have a lot of fun with. From seeing classic DnD monsters, to going through various locations, to uncovering sick ass weapons, to unlocking cool spells, to dying 500 times and running back to revive your dumbass brother for charging in and not healing. Games like these always make me wish a lot of my fav games had co-op too. Something very simple that can elevate an otherwise dated game into something special. Oh and those water effects. It's too peak
Great hack/slash old school RPG.

Game title: Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 10/10 overall rating: 7-/10 Good Release date: 2001 Developer: Snowblind Studios Publisher: Interplay Entertainment, Black Isle Studios Genre: Action role-playing, hack and slash PC requirements: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system OS : Windows 7 / 8 / 10 Processor: Pentium 4 2Ghz / AMD AthlonXP 2400 Memory: 1 GB RAM Graphics: GeForce FX5700 or better / ATI Radeon 9600 or better Storage: 6 GB available space Recommendations: Seems to be more fun with friends. Best played with controller. I played the Steam PC port on steam deck and had a good time. Graphics and aesthetics: Pretty basic design. Nothing stuck out much to me too much. The cutscenes were amusing. Gameplay: More fun with friends to co-op with. Enjoyable hack and slash through a bunch of dungeons. Audio: It was pretty solid. Good soundtrack, one of the strongest points of the game. Audience: Teen and up. Mostly just enemies exploding into low poly chunks or bits of blood. Somewhat revealing clothing. Officially rated T. Difficulty: Pretty easy, you can make it through this on your own with ease. Grind: Each area is pretty short but the combat can get a bit old halfway in. Remains fun regardless. Story: This game is mostly focused on gameplay and has a pretty simple plot. What there was of a plot was neat. Game time: https://howlongtobeat.com/game/812 Pretty short game you can beat in a weekend. My playtime for my playthrough was 28 hours. Price: Bit pricey for a port of a PS2 game you can beat within 28 hours. Wait for a sale atleast. https://gg.deals/game/baldurs-gate-dark-alliance/ Bugs: I don’t think I had any bugs Replay-ability: I’m more into games with plots but I can see giving this another playthrough with the right friends. Every time i play this game it runs at like 3x speed even with framerate capped at 60 and at 30. I dont understand. The cutscenes just feel awful because the animation is do e before the npcs even finish 2 words. I love this game but this really feels awful after paying 40 dollars
Exactly the game i remember from when I was a kid, Very fun.
simply turn on vsync and reboot if it speeds up. it works good
Because I only played GBA version before, so I decide to buy the original game. However, this version is too damned hard! Those green goo monsters in the sewer have killed me so many times. Now I stuck at Thieve's Guild. I have tried a lot of times to jump over round rocks. The design of whole game is terrible. Even the easy mode is totally unacceptable.
