In the middle of each nation's normal training routine, a Joint Military Exercise was enacted. A select few from each nation were chosen to participate in this rigorous event. But, how did this event come to be? Are there other ulterior motives at play?

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Me descargue este juego solo para ver como era Roon y a los 5 minutos de leer puro texto me pregunté que estaba haciendo con mi vida y cómo llegue a un punto tan bajo 💀

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Remember, when a game company is good at something, they capitalize the thing they are good at while making the game. For the instance of Azur Lane: Crosswave, it is visual novel. You heard me, it is a visual novel at core. It tries it's worst to hide itself as 3d action shooter game, but fails miserably at it. To put it simply, it is 90% visual novel and 10% action. You can buy the game yourself to see for yourself, I'm not stopping you. I will rant about the game before talking about good stuff. RANT: Battles are incredibly easy. You just enter, a second passes and you win, congratulations, yipee, here some money. Like, no challenge at all?! Seriously, no challenge at all?! What kind of lazy dumbass does that? I hear you, you want to make us dive into the beautiful and smokey world of azur lane but at least put up a challenge in battles. Even then, you're not good at storytelling at all! The story of this game is extremely boring, it is about a multinational military joint that has no connection to real events and the original story of the mobile counterpart! They could make it thrilling and appealing, but they decided not to; because it would be a great excuse to call it a 'fan service game' when there is no redeeming quality in the game! ıt is no brainer for someone to play the mobile version if they want fan service, mobile has plenty of those. You could at least do something different, something exciting, something mindblowing. By the way, this game is scripted to be played with a xbox controller, if your sorry mind think that you can play the game on keyboard in peace, it is WAY harder than on xbox controller. Say you're navigating the menu, fighting bad guys and what else, keyboard will worsen your experience, I'm saying this because I played the game on keyboard! I mean, games like this tend to have a fate of not having proper keyboard controls but, devs are lazy and nothing is gonna change that. If you played the game for, what, one or two hour, you will realize that these guys are making visual novel games. You will probably assume they will good at it, right? WRONG! Visual novel sections are as same as the mobile Azur Lane, nothing more, nothing less. Since they are releasing this game on pc, they could have made something different and carefully tailored, I don't know, add 3d modes of characters on visual novel scenes, make dynamic cutscenes, I'm naming a few, but even this is too much for them. All right, rant is done, now let's focus on good stuff. -All the characters are now in 3-freaking-D! That's awesome! -Photo mode (although this one only becomes available after the story, but it is a good feature nonetheless.). -Visual novel scenes are all voiced. Now this is a good thing because the mobile counterpart does not has that. -You can marry the ships. The thing you're getting is a generic visual novel scene with the waifu speaking, that's the only thing I know about this one, hence I never really used it. I'm kinda struggling to find the good parts of this game, as I didn't played it that much. If you are a die hard Azur Lane fan, then buy this game. But if you are a regular gamer who is looking for something that looks like an anime and action, I'm sorry, this is not for you. I'm giving this game a negative review based on my own experience, who knows? Maybe you will enjoy this game, maybe you will not, watch the gameplay on youtube to make a decision.

This game is relatively strong in the visual novel sections of story I've seen, using a strong existing cast of characters and portraying them in a way that compliments the source material. Being a booba game, the 3D versions of the shipgirls are modelled in a way that pleases my monke brain, sadly though that's where my praise ends. Unfortunately, this game completely fails in any gameplay sense, with little depth to battles because of a simple control scheme and only gear and shipgirls to select in order to variate your experience at all resulting in the battles being reduced to a grindy chore between the thirty minutes to an hour mark of gametime. I had high hopes for a spinoff title around the Azur Lane IP as it has so much potential to include deeper gameplay around with it's sci-fi WWII setting and for being a PC exclusive. We could have had this game set as an Real Time Strategy, Base/dock building or first/third person shooter with deeper mechanics, hell, I'd even take a rouge-lite or survival as that would take show the characters and setting all in a new light. Sad all we got was a visual novel with third person aspects duct tapped on. I wouldn't recommend it for it's current price-tag, I'd be thoughtful regarding picking it up on sale too, you do have better games to choose from no doubt. It's a good option to consider purchasing if (like me) you desire more content around the characters from the mobile game.
