Do you like The Legend of Zelda? Specifically, do you like the first game? If so, this short, 3 dungeon romp is going sit right with you. It's full of head-scratchers and the vibes are immaculate. There's 360° movement, which makes the gameplay a lot smoother, but not necessarily better. The music is great. Overall, this short and extremely cheap adventure captures the dungeon part of the original Zelda really well. About the only thing I can bring up as a negative is the length. I definitely would've paid more to play more. But for a 3-week project, this is still mighty impressive and a fantastic deal.
This is a very nice game, I am looking forward to Azaran: Islands of the Jinn. Thank you for making these games!
Justs a fun dungeon crawler similar to the dungeons in zelda for the NES.
PRO: YES so awesome to play something showing love to the classic ZELDA dungeons CON: bro in this day and age just a couple dungeons? Some kinda open world or maybe even side scrolling sections between or something, it's more like a demo for Zelda's dungeons instead of an advancement / modern take on the formula, THAT SAID, still reccomending because it was still fun to play a game in the style even if it was just a portion of the style and only one of the elements.
A short but competent action-adventure game which harkens back to the dungeon exploration of Zelda 1. Fun, with multiple endings and with a few neat ideas all its own, you get quite a bit for the price of admission.
Short and sweet. If you enjoyed the original Zelda you will enjoy this. Shouldn't take more than a few hours to finish.
A very good derivative of the first Zelda, a bit short and it would have been perfect if there were a couple more levels. The soundtrack was ok but could be improved. Most puzzles were obvious and enough context was given beforehand, Looking forward towards the 3d game and maybe a sequel.
