About

Step into the eerie world of Ayasa, a dark tale that blends quests, horror, and puzzles into a haunting journey. Without a single spoken word, the story is told through pantomime, surreal imagery, and a soundtrack composed by Komitas.
You will navigate six symbolic lands Faith, Hope, Love, Greed, Indifference, and Betrayal each corrupted by darkness. Every choice you make, every act of compassion or indifference, may lead to an unexpected ending. Will you restore balance or become the very force you sought to defeat?

Story:
The Inverted World was once in balance, where light and shadow coexisted under the watch of Tas, the Absolute. But now, war has shattered that harmony. As darkness spreads, Ayasa must journey through lands ravaged by greed, betrayal, and indifference, seeking the remnants of Tas’s light hidden within the realms of love, faith, and hope. This is not just a quest to survive it is a war of the soul, where the battlefield lies within.

Key Features:
A Dark and Surreal World – Explore hauntingly beautiful lands inspired by Tim Burton, René Laloux, Robert Sahakyants, and Hayao Miyazaki.

Unique Abilities – Unlock powers from the good lands during gameplay when solving puzzles.
Immersive Atmosphere – A dialogue-free narrative told through pantomime, visual symbolism, and a deeply emotional soundtrack.

Gameplay:

Art Direction
Every frame is a painting rich in symbolism, surrealism, and noir emotion. The world’s beauty is laced with melancholy, using a minimalist yet powerful color palette to evoke both wonder and dread. Levels feel alive, each location tells its own silent story.
Ayasa: Shadows of Silence invites players into a world where the smallest act can change everything and where the end depends on the heart that guides your choices.

Reviews

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The platforming feels floaty, and the Z-axis (moving "into" the screen) makes some jumps feel frustratingly imprecise. Also, be prepared for some long loading screens every time you die, which can kill the pacing. I’m really hoping to see some future updates or patches to tighten up the character movement and optimize the load times.
The soundtrack deserves special attention. Sometimes I just stopped moving and listened to the music while looking at the environment. It creates a very cinematic and emotional experience.
Ayasa has one of the most memorable atmospheres I’ve seen in an indie game. The visual style feels like a dark fairy tale, and every location has its own identity. The music fits the world beautifully and makes many scenes much more emotional.
