I love this board game. The electronic version speeds up the game nicely. My friends and I will play online and in person and HDMI cable the game up to the TV. I would absolutely love to have this in this in global Spring 1940 version or even 1914.
Mixture of strategy and logic with a bit of luck thrown in.
so far its ok
Its good but definetly not extraordinary
Good fun and moves along fairly rapidly.
This version of Axis and Allies is a great digital adaptation of the board game. The rule set has been faithfully translated and offers a very streamlined way to play the game. Visible dice rolling to resolve combat, increased visibility as you zoom in and out of the map and the ability to review previous turns via the log all combine to offer an excellent quality of play. Managing the unit selection for combat takes a little getting used to so I recommend playing a couple turns solo to get a feel for the particulars of the interface before diving into a battle with your friends. The shining feature of the game is online asynchronous play which allows you to experience the game in a very convenient, multiplayer format.
its ok. I miss the super powers tho.
