Game will maybe removed soon. Developer is making a "Definitve Edition"
We have also permanently reduced the price to $9,99. Because of this price reduction we wanted to provide those who already purchased the game with a free upgrade to the Definitive Edition.
Get it
Absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Terrible Not only is the logic broken, with events not triggerring the way they should and npcs forgetting or remembering various events at random, it is also generally ♥♥♥♥. And it also likes to preach to you about muh minorities.
Quite short. It is a massive shame, given the quality on display here, that they did not have more of a budget to make a longer game. I only got one of a few endings, but I really wish this game was longer.

I actually really like it. It's well-written and the four endings are a nice touch (even tho I've only seen one so far - on a hunt for the other 3). I only really have two complaints, which is one, it is a TAD bit confusing at first go around, with everyone speaking it (seemingly) some secret code. Like everyone else is privy to the answer to a question you haven't heard yet (and it ultimately ends up being that way?). And that the words are typed out on the screen - though thankfully you can skip through that. It always makes things about 3x slower when things type slower than you read. Other than that, it's actually a really decent game, and if you catch it on sale, or are a big fan of low-commitment visual novels, then go for it. It's worth the first play-through, at the very least.
I still think about this dysfunctional rich family's [strike]murder game[/strike] ceremony conducted during their matriarch's wake in a ritualistic vy for their eldritch patron's favor. Any issues I had with bugs, the devs were quick to address and fix.

They murder... con... and sweet-talk their way to becoming the favourite of the Patron in this multi-plotline Story set in a tiny, dark Eden."
This was a great game. I greatly enjoyed it. All the different paths and the characterization of everyone was good. Everyone felt believable, and there were little tidbits here and there that really drove the horror home. It has a really nice way of handling different flows through the game that makes even the save system feel like part of the eldritch nature of things. Plus there are little tidbits here and there that help push the atmosphere.
A nice visual novel with a good story and plenty of choices.
At Eve's Wake is an amazing visual novel eldritch horror game that has great art great music. Compared to most visual novel with anime or cartoon characters the art is very refreshing with a more realistic style. Feels like you are really in the middle of a Danganronpa game where you can kill off your opponents if you choose. Also has a fun undertale like system where you can use information from previous saves to your advantage. The characters are really well written but we just don't get enough time with most of them which a shame. The endings are also very rushed but other then these nitpicks I highly recommend it.
I can be the puppet of an otherworldy being amidst a family who loves each other to pieces. Sign me up!
