Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

“Shadows is some of the most fun I’ve had with a stealth game in a decade” —PC Gamer
Play as Naoe, a quick-witted shinobi, and use light, sound, and shadows to evade detection. Infiltrate enemy strongholds with many parkour options including the new grappling hook, distract guards with shuriken or smoke bombs, and assassinate your targets with your Hidden Blade. As the samurai Yasuke, use silent bow takedowns or unleash devastating melee combos with your katana or naginata.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best KR #32, worst AU #95 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ultimately I'm giving this game a positive review but I feel very split down on the middle on it. For everything the game does good I feel like it lacks somewhere else. The story itself is so very mid every step along the way. If you don't own the Claw's of Awaji expansion Naoe's story remains unfinished by the time credits roll. I was genuinely so confused when I didn't have anymore missions for her after completing the last one since it's a cliffhanger, only to find out it gets addressed in the $25 paid DLC. Yasuke's story feels so anti-climactic as well that I also didn't realize it was even the last mission of the game. The mission in itself also reveals Yasuke's entire motivation that I feel should have been revealed earlier in the story to make the player more want to get through it more. The entire time I'm mostly doing things because the game is giving me a list and I'm just checking things off. Not because I know why, aside from just revenge. Gamemplay wise, it's an Assassins Creed of the RPG era. If you played Origins, Odyssey, or Valhalla, then you know what you're getting into. I personally enjoy the combat but probably not as much as I did Odyssey, and especially not as much as Valhalla's with being able to change what you wield in both hands, leading to some interesting combinations. Noae can feel incredibly weak sometimes but is incredibly efficient when it comes to stealth gameplay. Yasuke you are perpetually bonking into walls and doorways everytime you sprint but he lays out enemies within a few swings and feels very good to play. These however, are my biggest gripe of the game. I enjoy the split story and having two protagonists and every single fortress, mission, etc all feel like there's no real wrong option character wise. However, switching between them is absolutely awful and I wish it was incorporated better. You have to go into the menu, hold down square/X, and then go into a loading screen and then back out to the game as the other character. On PC, not a huge deal but still annoying. On PS5 however, where half my playtime was spent, it's a good 10-15 seconds loading every time I need to switch to Naoe to climb a tower for a synchronization, or another 10-15 switching to Yasuke to do a Kata. It feels like Ubisoft forgot the entire game takes place inside the Animus with a user controlling the characters like avatars. Would it be too much to ask for being able to press a button to quickly switch characters within reason? One of the big positives for the game however is the world. Every single part of the map is absolutely stunning and just riding around on horseback I constantly find myself looking around at how beautiful it is. The sound design as well. Between the music, the rustling of trees, the wind, it all ties together phenomenally and did make the experience very nice to play.

Pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to pay for the game and then for the game to go on sale less than 24 hours later and then be told to ♥♥♥♥ off by steam.
too repetitive, graphic are very good, but the gameplay stood the same as 10 years ago
