Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

“Shadows is some of the most fun I’ve had with a stealth game in a decade” —PC Gamer
Play as Naoe, a quick-witted shinobi, and use light, sound, and shadows to evade detection. Infiltrate enemy strongholds with many parkour options including the new grappling hook, distract guards with shuriken or smoke bombs, and assassinate your targets with your Hidden Blade. As the samurai Yasuke, use silent bow takedowns or unleash devastating melee combos with your katana or naginata.
Switch between these two heroes to adapt your strategy and experience feudal Japan through two radically different approaches – stealth and strength, shadows and steel.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best KR #35, worst CA #97 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 20 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10.5 places towards #1, and the 2,491 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

cool
Performance and crashing is somehow a lot worse than Black Flag Resynced even in just the main menu. Overly padded out, story is good, but its drawn out with filler,
Ubisoft and especially Ubisoft Quebec have a quantity over quality issue
, the animus sections are slow and boring. I liked the hideout, but the resource grind is painful, obviously to make people buy the pay to win resource packs(Black Flag Resynced didn't have this issue and it made good profit while also being loved by fans). Writing is worse than Black Flag aswell, cutscenes and cinematics are somehow still worse than AC Unity even a decade later. Hopefully Ubisoft has their redemption arc and gets their fans trust again, but it requires listening to this feedback that almost everyone agrees on.
Ubisoft please just look back at 2, Black Flag and Unity and realize why fans love them.
I really did not have high hopes for this game especially after they changed a lot of the core mechanics and gameplay from previous AC titles. I thought it to be more like Odyssey or Mirage, (We dont talk about valhallah) but I was proven wrong. Slighlty challenging parrys and sword fights like GOT and just as beautiful as GOT, if nor more. Classic AC Story stretch, hoping to get a 100+ hours of game play exploring it. Playing on PC makes it a little difficult to get pictures, having a newer GPU does help, the game wants to run on max settings but this being steam and I being on a budget am making do with what we have. Would definately recommend regardless.
After about 160 hours and finally finishing the main story, I can say this: the real magic of this game isn’t the narrative, it’s the immersion. There are moments where you genuinely get lost in the world. The sound design and environmental detail are what kept me coming back. From the crunch of footsteps in fresh snow to the calm of a spring rain, Ubisoft absolutely nailed how lived‑in and weathered the world feels. The story, however, is subpar. By the end, it doesn’t feel like you’ve accomplished much. I’ve heard the DLC helps round things out, but after 160 hours and still nowhere near 100%, I don’t feel compelled to invest more time or money into it. I do recommend the game, just not for its story. This is a game for people who want to disappear into a beautifully crafted world for a few hours at a time, not for those looking for a tight, satisfying narrative arc.
