Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've loaded it up and played two or three times over the years. It's a good one as far as the Ezio stories go. Still looks decent and has a big city to explore. Plays stable on Windows 11, though I once had to change the resolution/frame rate to complete a flying mission because that one's glitchy now. Since the old servers are no longer functioning and Ubisoft tied some of the game function to that because they weren't thinking ahead, a few pieces of the game are missing, most notably the investments. But it's still playable, you can still buy shops to generate income, and gold quickly becomes a non-issue after a couple of hours. So it's not a big deal. But the Ubisoft launcher is ridiculous. It just randomly suspended my account for no reason. I played for 3 days, beat it again, and was noodling around to finishing buying all the landmarks and other completion stuff. Just enjoying the scenery. Log in on day 4 and it says my account is suspended. Apparently this is a big problem these days with this old Ubisoft stuff. It appears to be random. Some days I'm suspended and some days there's no problem logging in. Really obnoxious to be locked out of all your Ubisoft games because of one you bought 15 years ago.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It's a decent enough game but the fact that it asks me for my Ubisoft password every single time I reboot the computer - and it also asks me to link it with a stupid Facebook account - forces me to not recommend this game. Ubisoft are still making money from this game. The very least they could do is fix stupid bugs like this. They just want your money - they don't care about gamers.
Don't buy for any price. The game itself, it's beautiful, it reminded me why I fell in love with video games in the first place. But the launcher that Ubisoft forces you to use actively tries to hurt your soul. You must log in every single time you open the game. Ok, incredibly annoying. But fine, they're Canadian so it's a given that it'll be annoying. But then... Well one session it decides to stop recognizing your controller. Ok, I'll restart. No. Ok I'll force steam input. No. Ok, well I know it's using cloud saves, I see it download something each time I finish a session. I'll just reinstall, maybe something got corrupted and a reinstall will fix it. Not only did it not fix it, there were no cloud saves. 14hrs lost. If I wasn't enjoying myself as much as I was I'd just call it, hit the thumbs down and move on with my life. But I was loving this game. I was just in it having fun enjoying the story and acting and gameplay. Now, I can never play it again. I hate Ubisoft. No reason for this, none whatsoever. Do not buy this. Pirate it if you can. Never buy anything by this company. They will find a way to screw you, like they screwed me, and without consequence. I hate this organization so much. I wish nothing but the worst for everyone involved, from the c suite to the janitors. I hate you all.
If you stuck on the last battle against Cesare merely because your rig is too powerful for this old game, lock in-game FPS to 60, will stop Cesare from waving his sword in the air, that final duel(with Cesare constantly cheating by calling his gang) will begin. The game's too old to play it today. AC II trilogy should be considered to remake the next(after Blackflag).
