Assassin's Creed™ is the next-gen game developed by Ubisoft Montreal that redefines the action genre. While other games claim to be next-gen with impressive graphics and physics, Assassin's Creed merges technology, game design, theme and emotions into a world where you instigate chaos and become a vulnerable, yet powerful, agent of...

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I had to play it with the internet off because it was always crashing, by trying to connect to the server (which are down)

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

скорее тех демка чем полноценная игра. будь она более сжатой, возможно была бы лучше, а так даже бладлайнс как то больше понравился, чем эта полноценная часть.
Played this in 2025, and honestly, it still holds up. It doesn't look great anymore, and getting my controller to work on PC version was a bit of a struggle, but I still had a lot of fun with the gameplay.
I purchased Assassin’s Creed during Steam’s Summer Sale because I wanted to relive one of my favorite childhood games. I originally played it on the Xbox 360 many years ago, so I was excited to experience it again on my PC. The game was installed quickly, the graphics looked sharp, the physics were smooth, you can even map the controls on the keyboard or game controller. The open-world experience is still a fun experience with it’s traditional use of parkour, stealth, and combat in the setting of the Third Crusade. Since I bought the game on Steam for only five dollars with its original price being twenty dollars, I feel like the game was a good steal. Personally, I feel like the game should’ve been ten dollars for today, since it is a bit outdated, but I digress. The game was only five dollars. If I had to list my pros and cons, it would be as mentioned. Pros: better graphics than Xbox 360, higher frame rate, faster loading, great story, and immersive world of the middle eastern setting. Cons: NPC dialogue can be repeated multiple times which can drive the immersion down, and the game is repetitive. Overall, I say Assassin’s Creed was a very great game, and for it being from the year two thousand seven, I say it still holds up. And I personally prefer this type of game over the more RPG-focused modern Assassin’s Creed video games as of right now. So, my final verdict is a 4.3/5 stars.
This game walked so AC2 could run. Just start with that one; it's not worth it to play this one.
To begin with, first I played Assassin's Creed when I was still a not so smart kid, and despite the fact that I didn't understand anything, the game still left a lasting impression on me. Even then when I played other games in the series, I couldn't help but think about the first game and wonder if I should replay it. I didn't remember much about the plot or the characters, which was probably for the best, as I realized how amazing the game was when I started playing it as an adult. I love Altaïr with all my heart and soul and I really consider him to be the best protagonist in the series, no hate pls. I love his boastful nature at the beginning of his story, and I love how he grows through the story, how he finally starts to notice the people around him and the consequences of his actions. He really changes a lot throughout the game, and I think it was even more enjoyable for me to play because I was also reading "The Secret Crusade" at the same time. The fights here are so pleasing to the eye, and I'll probably never get tired of admiring Altaïr's swirling movements when he uses swords. There's really something special about it for me, from his attacks to the rattling sound of his weapons as he walks through the streets. I probably sound weird on this topic, but I enjoy it on some unspeakable level. AND THE PARKOUR!!!! I literally spent hours running through the roofs of the city and doing nothing else. Okay, I'm a little crazy about this whole atmosphere, and I don't know how else I can praise it. And then, considering everything I said above, I wanna make it clear that there is a THOUSAND PROBLEMS with the game itself, because playing it was like a torture session combined with various elaborate rituals. At the very beginning the game kept crashing, and every time I was trying to perform the leap of faith, I died as if I were falling into a pile of bricks instead of a haystack. After configuring and fixing everything, and playing for almost 13 hours, the game started crashing at the Ubisoft title screen, and I couldn't do anything about it. Even after trying every possible solution, I really thought I was going to go crazy. People have been writing about this problem on forums for twenty years now, but nothing has changed, and the only way I can play the game is with the internet turned off. My hours in it are no longer counted, and I'm stuck at 13 hours for life, even though I've completed the game. I'm madly in love with this story, I'm forever devoted to its characters and universe, but I'm really terribly sad that it seems that no one remembers the progenitor of assassin's creed franchise, even the devs themselves. I'm sorry, Altaïr, you deserve all the best and I hope that one day you'll finally get your well-deserved remake. I've loved this game for many years and I can't raise my hand to give it a bad rating, but I really would like to see at least something fixed with it.
