LOVE IT!!!!
Extremely nostalgic and faithful remaster crafted with care, BFR is a very refreshing feeling reminiscent to the times when ac titles weren't over bloated RPG's that took a quarter of your lifespan to complete. This game features the naval combat of the original with some tweaks and adjustments and an overhauled combat system that feels modernized and good to play. Some features are notably absent like picking up enemy arms which was one of the best features in the original, that and the lack of blade combat can make the combat feel somewhat repetitive after a while despite the decent plethora of killing methods at your disposal. Capturing forts and fighting boss ships as well all the collectables and island progress provide a worthwhile amount for the dollar in terms of additional content. The game's biggest flaw is being a ubislop title meaning there abhorrent connect launcher is required. Overall its a solid remaster and great title that feels outdated in 2026 in a great way and the graphical improvements are incredibly rewarding the lighting is absolutely phenomenal 8.8/10

Not only is this a classic game but the Resynced version is incredibly beautiful. I am loving every second of it and having a blast. If you haven't played this game yet do so and if you played the original like me you won't regret another run at it.
Now this is how a remake is done right! Cheers mate! 10/10 in every aspect!
