Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 27.57/day in the week to Jul 26 → 36.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Just buy this game and walk into knowing as little as possible. You won't be disappointed.
I remembered that I once saw a random episode of Markiplier playing this game a while back and I bought it when it last went on sale and boy am I glad! Amazing deck building ARG with really cool mindblowing mechanics! Act 3 bosses were spooky and shocking with their abilities to
access actual files from the PC
. I rate this one better than Slay the Spire mainly because of the intriguing lore and the ambience this game has! Got me hooked within the first hour and it just kept getting better & better. Act 1 was my favorite of them all. Act 2 was interesting and Act 3 was the longest & weirdest of them all for me. I really liked the way they ended the game as well. There is still a challenge mod included expansion for me to check out which I assume will be a classic deck building ARG without the lore elements. There's a lot of replayability with this game and as I said, for me this is one of the most underrated deck builders out there. Totally worth the price!!

I hate gambling, I hate randomly generated outcome, I hate constantly hoping that I will get that one specific thing that I am craving so much for. But none of that applies to inscryption, because 99.9% of card collectors quit before hitting big.
I understand that the meta story is the whole point. But you cant just sit there and present me with what could be an amazing (and personally what might be one of my personal favorite) stand alone game with the concept of the card game itself and the 4 scrybes, just to RIP it all away from me with a subplot that I personally could not find any stake or interest in. For the love of god, please make a spinoff that is just a game with a story mode about each scrybe and their playstyles, Act 2 wasn't enough. And let me shake Magnificus' hand you bastard.
Definitely a landmark for gaming with meta themes. I was really drew me in due to both it's compelling gameplay and alluring mystery. The entire game feels like a cohesive puzzle to solve and it really bugged my brain for a good while. I don't think I've played a game liked this before where strategy and logical puzzle solving were melded together so well. The game is loaded with detail and secrets so that multiple playthroughs of the base story are inevitably going to differ, and it's fun to compare what you happened to witness in the vs other gamers. It balances horror elements with a dash of humour very well. If I were to criticise I'd say that
I do think the narrative of the game is a bit too mired in ARG stuff. It's not entirely a bad thing but personally I don't really want to seek out the extra context and information. It's another layer that will appeal to a niche gamer, but personally I'm left wishing that some of this stuff was more clearly represented within the final product itself. As such I'm not entirely sure the narrative of this game quite had the impact on me as the creators intended.
As an experience it's certainly not going to be one I'll forget any time soon and I really think everyone should go and play it.
a 10/10 that wasnt what i was expecting in the best way possible. best experienced when going in completely blind.
shout out ouroboros for holding it down until the end
Goated card game that is best experienced by going in blind and simply playing along
Masterpiece. Fell in love with this game 4 years ago and it's still amazing to this day.
