Explore the entangled lives of two families across thirty years in an original interactive drama from INTERIOR/NIGHT. Starting in 1998 with a robbery-gone-wrong, the character's lives depend on the choices you make.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too PG-13 and the art style is nauseating.
Genuinely good. Much better with a room of friends too. Well performed as well, which is rare lol. Pack up your wizards and aliens and waifus for one second and try this cinematic game about quite real people.
2/10 TLDR; The problem with these games is the story is 99.9% of the gameplay. If you don’t think the story is good, you will hate the game. First warning If you’re bothered by “woke” stuff in media, don’t touch this. Made in the UK. Feels like the director was dumping his thoughts and interests straight into the script. The “race mixing” is baked into the premise — two families from different backgrounds get tangled up and stay tangled for decades. Diverse casting, “lived experience” team talk, the studio leaned hard into having a mixed-background team and treating that as a storytelling strength. Result is a cast that checks boxes and a story that deliberately avoids clean moral binaries. Even more obvious is the portrayal of whites vs non-whites. The white characters — especially the Holts and a lot of the Walker side — are almost all defined by some combination of “bad guy” vibes. Bear is the abusive gambling addict. The brothers are armed robbers who keep making things worse. Vince is the broken, jobless, passive guy. Jim is the liar who fakes a tumor. Even the ones who aren’t outright evil still end up miserable or destructive. Classic “white rural/working-class = pathology” template. Meanwhile the non-white or brown-coded characters get the competent, functional, or professional roles: the sheriff (Dante Romero, Latino), various law-enforcement / interrogator types, the more stable or skilled supporting figures. They’re not perfect, but they’re not drowning in the same self-destructive soup the white characters are. It’s not subtle. The game never comes out and says “white people are the problem,” but the pattern of who gets written as broken and who gets written as capable is very clear once you notice it. Same soft prestige-TV move a lot of these stories make: the white characters carry the dysfunction and moral failure while the more diverse characters get the dignity and competence. The actual game That aside, in my experience it’s a mediocre-bad game with a poor story. Six hours of watching dysfunctional people make increasingly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ decisions while the camera lingers on them like a prestige HBO drama that forgot to be interesting. Character arcs are mostly people being depressed, guilty, or mediocre for long stretches with very little payoff. No real twists, no escalation that feels earned, no moment that makes you lean forward. Just slow, tired, human misery stretched thin. They keep putting that one woman in minimal clothing and framing her like we’re supposed to care or find it dramatic. If she does nothing for you, those scenes just sit there like awkward cringey padding. The whole presentation already has that painted, slightly off-looking art style, so when they decide to sexualize or linger on someone you find unattractive it lands even worse. The first half hits with the motel ♥♥♥♥ and the family collision — tense, mean, good choices. But you’ve barely been following this family around and don’t have much desire to be with them, or any particular side of this issue. Then it stretches into the later years and a lot of players (and some critics) checked out. Pacing goes soft, some character arcs feel like soap-opera filler, and that ending leaves you hanging like the studio ran out of money or patience. In a way I ran out of patience for the game so it was an actual relief to end this nightmare. The painted art style is either cool as hell or looks like a half-finished comic depending on who you ask. Personally I got used to it, but didn’t particularly like it. QTEs are basic “I can’t think of a way to make this game work.” Every story game has them. I wanted something that actually entertained or surprised me. This game was never going to do that. It’s proud of being “uncompromising” and “mature,” which in practice means boring, self-serious, and unwilling to give you anything fun or clever. There didn’t seem to be a powerful, interesting, or unique story. It was pretty much just “things happen.” Commercial side Steam estimates sit around 75–120k copies and roughly $1.4–2.2 million gross. That’s not blockbuster numbers. But it launched day-one on Xbox Game Pass, which is exactly how Microsoft wanted these narrative games to work: get eyes on it, get people talking, pad the service with something different from the usual shooters. Engagement mattered more than unit sales. The studio’s still standing in 2026. They’re hiring, they shipped the PS ports, physical editions, and it’s been on PS+. Developers talk about it like a win that got them an award and more projects in the works. No layoffs, no shutdown, no “we lost a fortune and never speaking of this again” energy. So it’s hard to 100% call this a flop. For a debut interactive drama from a small London studio? It did its job. Critical love, Game Awards win, multiplayer that actually got people arguing on the couch, and enough residual life to keep existing four years later. My experience 2–4/10 most of the way through. Barely enough willpower to keep playing, no real desire to see how things go, no real interest in how the story plays out. I would 100% suggest you watch a let’s play instead of play this game. If you are able to enjoy it for an hour, maybe this game is for you. If not, save yourself the money.
SUCH A FUN GAME, has alot of outcomes, i wish more people spoke about this game
