Sehr schönes Spiel. Tolles Welt- und Figurendesign, leider nur englische Sprachausgabe aber die ist klasse! Die Geschichte und Aufgaben sind sehr stimmig. Die Welt und die Figuren wirken sehr lebendig (außer im Hades natürlich). Spiele es mit Controller und finde auch die Steuerung sehr angenehm. Lasst euch nicht von Meckerbewertungen irritieren, das Spiel ist sehr spielenswert!

A very solid 2d action platformer game. Its art design, which is based on ancient Greek pottery art, and its epic soundtrack are impressive, and its gameplay with its physics creates some good old chaotic fun. The game gives you a big arsenal to deal with your enemies as well, and there are some creative ideas behind your fights with the Gods that keep things interesting from start to finish. The plot on the other hand is serviceable, and some loading times can be bigger than they ought to. Finally, Im thinking that having the VAs reading their lines in ancient Greek(and keep the words in english) would have added an extra layer of immersion to this game. Unfortunately, the VAs are just some english speaking people that try their best fit in with the game's world. Its not bad, but featuring Ancient Greek as spoken language in the game was such a wasted opportunity. Give apotheon a try, and you wont regret it. Its good little game that puts emphasis on Greek art and mythology, and on simple fun gameplay wise. 8.8/10

Peak greece

One of favorites games in the metroidvania space, very unique style, a true homage to the greek tales/myths because it captures the essence and story telling of the ancient legends told by generations. I recommend it to metroidvania lovers, people searching for hidden gems and especially to history nerds like myself ;) . 9/10 almost perfect game. Its a little bit bugged sometimes, but overall a nearly perfect game.
