ONE OF MY FAVORITE puzzle games.
its quite a memorable game, with a unique visual look, puzzles can be a bit obtuse sometimes and especially unlocking new powers isnt always communicated very well but i think this game is very underrated its also only 660 mb so very space economic
What a fantastic puzzle game! Even now, 13 years later, I think a lot of puzzle games could learn some lessons from Antichamber. It never holds your hand too much, it lets you figure out the rules and solutions all from context and asks you to pay attention to what you're doing. There are some very minor tutorials to teach you the controls, but outside of those, it's all up to you. The aesthetics are fantastically liminal, and I can't overstate how much I loved that the game isn't afraid to break 3D space. But even though Antichamber is full of "impossible areas" and invisible pathways, it still somehow managed to keep everything understandable. I never felt like it was designed to annoy, just to impress, which it did. I got credits to roll, but feel like I've missed half of the game's content, there's just so many hidden areas, little pathways, puzzles, and easter eggs everywhere! Absolutely loved my time with it. Go get it!
