About
The goal is simple, activate all souls in a level and escape. However every level revolves around wildly differing mechanics where you must first explore and figure out the level's purpose before then solving its abstract puzzles.
You may be tasked with manipulating physical structures or the realm itself to solve logic puzzles, or wander strange subliminal spaces, perhaps deal with phasms or briskly bound through the aether. Delve into 64 mysterious mind-bending levels that will test the limits of every facet of your cognitive faculties.

While first set of levels was nice and overall the game has good and interesting puzzle levels, there are also some absurdly hard platformer levels. While i would recommend to try this game out to excersise brain a bit, i don't recommend the game to completionists like me as some levels might take hours of attempts to complete. Treat my review as mixed, steam offers only thumbs up or down so i pick the least used in cases like this.
That's gonna be a no for me. I'm a big fan of puzzle games, when I bought this game I thought it would have some kind of "abstract puzzle" atmosphere similar to Antichamber (one of my favorite game). Unfortunately this is far from being the case. This game is more of a walking simulator, with most puzzle rooms lacking any clue and only responding to brute-force. The persistant demand of trial-and-error solutions without asking any intellectual input from the player is the reason why I didn't feel like pursuing this hollow gameplay further. Maybe some people like exploring surreal worlds, but even considering that, this game doesn't feel alive at all and the visual experience was actually quite unpleasant. I'm struggling to find some "pros" to this game. The price maybe... Some puzzle concepts could have been interesting if they were better designed. I might reconsider my review if I decide to play this game further, but right now it just feels like a waste of time...

Don't let a price tag of $4.99 trick you into thinking that this game is better than most of the FREE ones out there....like I was tricked. This "game" is basically ONE PINK ROOM in the clouds, with apparent "puzzles" that make no logical sense, and incredible skill tests involving jumping from one floating square to the next...in which you are NEVER clear on what you are supposed to be doing. If jumping around in vast, open spaces (and constantly and repeatedly falling to your "death" if you miss the platform a pixel) is the kind of thing that excites you...then buddy, slap that $4.99 on the counter and expect to be bored to the point of catatonia, just the way you love it!

This game required a brain to play it But i cant even manage to write proper review for it beautful artworks 10/10 would look at my screen for 20+h again
Very nice First-Person-Puzzler with great optics. A little bit of walking simulator, too. Some Puzzles are less intuitive, but overall it has been a great experience. Recommendable if you like games like Portal, Antichamber, Beginners Guide, Stanley Parable etc.
Ilamentia is kind of like a 3D/first-person version of Case's other game, Straima. In both games you have to "kill" objects in a map (blobs/soul) and neither bothers explaining this to you. Both games have a distinct style, but while the weirdness works in 2D it doesn't in 3D. It just looks like a crappy version of heaven from a 90s B-movie. I played it for a bit and i just don't care for it. The environment makes the worse, as does the style. If you give people an objective (kill X), don't make it too vague to determine if X is actually dead. There's also too much trial and error and nonsense like a puzzle where the solution isn't in the level. The "hints" button is fairly useless too. A few people will love this game, the remaining 95+% will get stuck after 10 minutes, shrug and movie on to something less aggressively player-unfriendly.
Great and weird game. An early caiys classic.
