A beautiful and fun game through and through. I adore how the environments interweave trash and debris into the natural ocean terrains to create unique areas and boss arenas. The story and worldbuilding is also much deeper than it appears at first glance. This game is amazing and I cannot recommend it enough :)

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

fun game, ng+ adds a lot so I might come back in the future
This is a hard one to rate. I did overall definitely enjoy my time with this one quite a bit, but there were also fairly regular occurrences of just baffling design which kept adding up over the course of the game, leading to many moments of frustration and confusion. This is an overall pretty solid game and really shines in some places, but it can't escape some of its own trappings. This game pulls pretty obviously from the Souls games in terms of it's combat and exploration. I love the souls games, so I did enjoy a lot of exploring this underwater world to see what creatures I could collide with in combat. I do think the difficulty here is fairly standard if youre used to the series; it offers some fair challenge (and a bit of unfair challenge) which keeps the stakes fairly high, with options for more strength or ability focussed action. The combat here is mostly fine, but the main issue is something you see in a lot of Unity projects: this obsession with including needless physics and physics based objects in the world. In this case this manifests in your character ragdolling when struck by a heavy hit, and rolling into a disregarded usable item on the ground making you unable to dodge the attack. This is compounded by many arenas having weird issues with verticality; either enemies getting stuck on walls, you getting stuck on enemies, or you unable to maneuver properly because some combat arenas are two separate objects with their own collision that you can't just walk between for some reason. I am moaning a lot I am aware, which sucks because I did overall have a lot more fun than I was expecting given I encountered most of these grievances early. I think the setting and story were interesting enough to keep me curious to see what I'd be slashing through next, and the majority of said slashing was at least serviceable enough to keep me entertained. It's definitely flawed but this one has enough original ideas and engaging gameplay to be worth a go, especially on discount. If it was a little more polished this could easily step into great game territory, but for now this is a troubled but fun adventure, and especially worth a play if you enjoy other souls-likes. 6/10
Its a gem and I had a fun playing it. I found the progression really rewarding which made exploring every corner of the world feel worthwhile. Althogh it did make me realise that soulslikes just are not my thing though. The combat intensity is a bit much when I want to relax, but I really appreciate the assist mode. Giving a crab a gun is the exact kind of chaotic humour a challenging game like this needs. It is clear a massive amount of love went into this project. It is a unique and funny adventure that I highly recommend for the charm alone.
