Shape the Roman Empire in this genre-defining strategic builder game. Build cities while expanding your influence through Roman provinces. Govern using your economic prowess, diplomatic skills, or military might.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About
As governor, how you build and govern will shape your story, your citizens’ destiny, and your provinces’ future. Will you cooperate with other governors or prove your military prowess by challenging your rivals? The cost of peace is yours to decide.
Build your provinces with unmatched detail, flexibility, and scale. Watch kids chase dogs through the streets or thousands cheer in the arena. Build upon the land that you see, from the beautiful heartland of Latium to the mysterious Celtic wetlands of Albion… where no civilized Roman wants to be.
Design the cities of your dreams at the peak of the Roman Empire as you balance your people's needs with the relentless demands of the emperor. Forge alliances across the empire or showcase your might with strategic land battles and naval combat. You may even defy the emperor himself – but not without consequences.
Every decision you make as governor matters. Will you honor local Celtic culture or enforce Roman traditions? Grow your provinces through diplomacy and commerce or conquer through military strength. Your choices will shape not only the future of your citizens and your provinces, but your own story as well.

Ubisoft is stupid and ruins multiplayer
I do recommend it. It is a good game, and you will get a good number of hours out of it and have some good varied gameplay. HOWEVER The business model is a disgrace. They have a year1 DLC pass which DOES NOT contain all the DLC. So you will buy the game, get the DLC pass, then buy additional DLC. They will expect you to keep throwing money at them for often minor things. The game itself deserves some good praise. The business model and attitude of the devs/pub does not.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Same day: best DE #12, worst MX #94 · 7 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.67/day in the week to Jul 21 → 6.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Well... It's the most dissapointing Anno game now. I'm a long standing fan of series(started with 1503) and here we have THE WORST CAMPAIN(it realy desreves caps) of all anno games. Buy it at half price(as highest) if you in to this type of gameplay. But honestly I feel like i've been fooled. Game feels rushed for release. Not even sure if I'll play it again, and i've played a crap ton of times in all previous anno's. Ok graphics. Ok mechanics. God awuful campain, Anno 117 feels like polished indie citybuilder in EA. Sure hope they'll fix campain but if not i would not buy any dlc's.
es un afano y aburrido, sin misiones, ni expediciones, los DLC son un bodrio, no lo recomiendo ni en oferta!
Ubisoft anti-cheat and launcher is awful. Frequently will not connect. (Owned game for less than 1wk) Makes it quite difficult to even get in to play the game.
Game was fine when it first launched, but then one day it just stopped loading. I deleted everything in frustration after a few days of trying. Now, months later, I decided to try it again. Downloaded the game, the Ubisoft Connect app, and nothing runs. The game says it's trying to start in Steam, but then nothing happens. I try opening Ubisoft Connect and nothing happens. What a joke of a business. Scammed me out of my money once, and never again.
Man besiedelt letztlich also immer die genau gleichen Inseln. Das killt die Replayability.
Beautiful Roman setting, relaxing atmosphere, and satisfying city-building. The game takes some time to learn, and the beginning can feel a little slow, but after a few hours it becomes much more engaging. So far, I’m enjoying it and would recommend it to fans of strategy and management games.
