This game, gameplay wise, is very very similar to the other storefront games will you play. It has a few cool features in it but generally is just another good gameplay option. The main way that this game differentiates itself is the developers, I have submitted 3 different game breaking bug reports to the developers and they have issued updates to fix it within 2 weeks of each one. Several larger indie games on steam my friends and I enjoy, but we often find bugs that break multiplayer and have to give up on the game. The devs actually fixing issues has allowed us to keep coming back after a while!

Not a finished game at the stage of writing this review. It seems like they've cut a lot of corners and focused on the wrong things to make this game feel like a good game. All I'm doing is running around stocking shelves during open hours. That is after maxing the shelves during closed hours. It's a bloody unpacking game and you are constantly being harassed by thieves trying to steal from you. Not a fun game.
I have had fun playing with my buddies, but I would say this one is a pass. It's very underdeveloped. It could learn quite a lot form other games of the genre. I never appreciate seeing paid DLC content for games that clearly need a lot of work. That's just unacceptable behavior to me. You do not go asking for more money when you have yet to fully deliver on the initial product. You do not offer additional content when the base content is broken. The artwork seems like it was actually drawn by a person, which I appreciate but I am also wary of games like this and how easy it is for devs to phone it in and ask a robot to do their work for them. If this game gets the fine-tuning it needs, I would say go ahead and pick it up. For the time being, spend your money on better games of the genre, like TCG card Shop Simulator.
A charming shop sim that has a lot of promise. no AI generated assets either, which is incredibly nice to see

**Anime Shop Simulator Needs Steam Cloud Saves** I enjoy Anime Shop Simulator, but the lack of cloud saves is incredibly frustrating. I travel a lot and take my gaming laptop with me so I can keep playing while I'm away from home. Unfortunately, my progress from my main PC doesn't carry over to my laptop, which means I have to start my shop all over again. I've already spent hours building my shop, collecting cards, hiring workers, and making money. I shouldn't have to repeat all of that just because I'm playing on a different computer. It's 2026. Steam Cloud support should be a standard feature in a game like this. I shouldn't have to manually transfer save files every time I switch between my desktop and laptop. I like the game, but until cloud saves are added, it's hard for me to recommend it to anyone who plays on more than one PC. **Please add Steam Cloud support.**
