Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 8.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Hi, yes, I love it. I adore it. I haven't enjoyed a game this much in a long time. It's not mindless, it's not a time-eater. Anima Well is just... good. It challenges and surprises. I'm absolutely delighted.
As your journey begins, there’s this unbelievable feeling of entering a place where you truly don’t know what to expect - it’s wet, it’s dark, and there’s always something lurking in the shadows, watching your every step. You never know who or what will you find just around the corner. This place is unnerving, it haunts you, it doesn’t want you here, and yet at the same time it embraces you with such a beautiful, living world that you simply can’t leave without uncovering another one of its hundreds of secrets first There's no place for some comforting genre banalities like double jump, every new tool you discover along the way not only surprises you but offers a fresh perspective on the world around. You remain constantly anxious and constantly enthralled by every new discovery - which is a crazy feat nowadays Music, art, puzzles, sounds, even the engine itself - every little detail in this vast hidden world was done from scratch by game's creator Billy Basso, whose dedication deserves nothing but praise. The result is one of the most unique takes on metroidvania genre in years That said, lack of traditional plot demands your constant curiosity and enthusiasm. You have to genuinely want to explore your possibilities within these beautiful yet hostile surroundings - something that can understandably be a bit overwhelming for some
Very fun exploration, which really rewards simply paying attention to your surroundings. Don't feel like you're "breaking the game" if you find some way to take advantage of some mechanic. The developer apparently has thought of everything.
absolute masterclass in non-traditional level design, sound design, graphics, and storage optimisation. reasons to buy this game: the game is 35 megabytes of total storage space able to run on anything / not system intensive steam deck verified you're always able to go back to it / a game you can play more than once beautiful graphics and engaging gameplay publishing debut of bigmode, which is ran by renowned game reviewer and world record holder of “bowser’s big bean burrito” videogamedunkey
The best game and gaming experience I have ever had. This game respects your intelligence and free-will. Do not look anything up, go in as blind as possible. Everything outside the community ARGs are completely doable on your own.
I have so much praise for this game. Billy Basso, you outdid yourself. Animal Well has so much passion behind it, that experiencing it feels like a spiritual journey rather than a playthrough. The last time I felt this sense of exploration and discovery was when Breath of the Wild released while I was in highschool. That feeling of solving a puzzle or uncovering a secret is unlike anything else. You created something so immersive and special, that I'm honestly considering becoming a game developer so I can deliver this same experience to someone else. Thank you for making this game.
I've played this entire game blind. Whenever I thought "Yeah, this must be it, there shouldnt be much more after this", BOOM another thing i would not have seen coming! Every time i finish the game, another layer of secrets and mysteries gets added and i can start looking across the entire map again! I just obtained my second-last achievement, thus only one remains. I have a suspicion what the last achievement is for based on where i am in the game, but like... it's getting ridiculous lol (in a good way!) Overall, as somebody who loves games with secrets, this was an amazing experience!
This games does puzzles reall well - albiet, some last little ones are near impossible to find yourself but I guess they're not really supposed to be. With that said, very addicting and rewarding puzzle game overall.
