Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 2 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The Angel's mothership, Throne, lays dormant behind a fierce storm. To reach it, unlock its secrets, and usher in the future, you must explore the land of Era and survive its trap-filled ruins, primordial forests, treacherous mountains, mines, and more! Overcome intense battles and hilarious hazards in this tale of betrayal, haunting lore, and fruitless yearning.
Hello, devs Melos and Marina here. Today, our hero Tets, and his ally Arkas will introduce the game, alongside the villainous Niamh!

TETS: I’ve spent many years practicing the Art of Bumpslash — just bump me into enemies to automatically attack! It's fast-paced, and you’ll pick it up in no time!
PRINCESS NIAMH: HAHAHAHA!! Tets, my dear... aren’t you giving them false hope? After all, the Fae spirit “Melos” has prepared many vicious and hilarious tricks to guard our ancient secrets! My heart swells thinking of the suffering that awaits these unsuspecting players!
ANGEL ARKAS: Don’t forget the bigger picture: a vast world map you can search to find levels and zones. Follow your instincts to chart a flexible path. Go at your own pace — follow your spirit! Life's not a checklist, it’s an experience!!

TETS: Agreed! I can’t wait to escape into this world’s haunting lore, woven from Irish mythology, early Christian philosophy, and Japanese American history. By poring over ancient texts and researching on-location, Melos and Marina have grounded their world in truth!
ANGEL ARKAS: Truth is not limited to dusty details, Tets. You've forgotten about Angeline Era's tales of fruitless yearning, life-shattering betrayal and unsettling beauty! Only the truths of the heart will bring forth the future...
PRINCESS NIAMH: What on earth are you two going on about? This is an action game. KILL, KILL!!

"Bump the World!" with intuitive Bumpslash Combat. Walk into enemies to attack - no button needed! Fast-paced action levels AND exploration-and-lore focused levels will test your skills.
Explore fearsome Fae forests, condemned buildings, trap-filled farms, spiritual mountains sites, mines, towns, and more!
Fierce and uniquely designed bosses and enemies that will test your Bumpslash skills
Follow wandering ex-soldier, Tets Kinoshta, as he allies with the Angel, Arkas Gemini, attempting to breach the storm guarding Throne: the Angel's crashed mothership. Will they unlock its secrets?
Plenty of levels, each offering glimpses into the Fae, Angels and Humans living together in the country of Era.
Mix up combat with subweapons and a gun, and visit towns to shop for items. Beat levels to get Scales and level up!
On average, a first playthrough takes 20-30 hours, depending on how much of the world you want to explore and how fast you play. (Rushed playthroughs may be less - I've seen as low as 15-16, thorough playthroughs may be over 30)
Low-difficulty setting for Beginner Bumpslashers, and nightmarish settings for the deranged!
From Anodyne 2 and Sephonie's devs, Melos and Marina.

Reviews
Mesmerizing and super fun, amazing nostalgic vibe, extremely creative world, and well built.
Really interesting take on action/adventure; I enjoy the focus on exploration and the unique challenges that come from 'bumping' as the primary form of interaction. Nice low-poly graphics and some really good music as well.

A beautiful, generous game!!
- Discovery and exploration for fun's sake - A thousand metaphors I'll probably never get my head around - Unique boss fights you won't find in other platforming adventure games
Pure, simple, elegant even. Angeline Era takes a small set of ideas -- exploration and a simple yet surprisingly deep combat system -- and runs with them, polishing them to perfection whilst stripping away anything unnecessary. I would wholeheartedly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys exploration, even if it often is for its own sake, and a simple combat system that somehow manages to constantly surprise you. However, if you don't enjoy either of these, Angeline Era may end up disappointing, as was the case for myself.
Absolute DELIGHT of a game! Analgesic team always does beautiful stuff, and this is still wonderful. Cried at a few parts... It's based on a lot of personal experiences that'll speak to certain communities more, but it provides a lot of context on these things that help it make sense, especially towards the end. The secret hunting in their games is always a highlight for me, and I enjoyed it a lot here! Combat was also very fun, even as someone I would say is Bad at it. It's absolutely alright to play on a lower difficulty, but if it feels boring, definitely consider turning it up! It changes a LOT of how the game feels to play, for the better, if you feel underchallenged. As my... Second? Bumpslashing game, it lead me in fairly calmly, and I enjoyed it! Just remember that the game is designed to kill you at least a few times on harder difficulties, and that that's part of the fun. It's a game, and a challenge set for you in that regard! And can still be made reasonable with difficulty tweaks. Just bear in mind that the highest difficulty setting is essentially a challenge mode, and not the way the game is meant to be experienced first time! It takes away some mechanics (HP buffs, shopping) that are clearly meant for players who feel skilled in both the combat AND knowledge of the game. In the words of the wise: It's okay to get your ass kicked sometimes... But it's just as okay to use every tool at your disposal to win!
