Overwhelmingly bizarre beauty. Shoot, dodge, and destroy! A shmup where an apocalyptic world awakens to primal desires!

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 23 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A surprisingly accessible Shoot Em Up game that uses distorted human anatomical shapes to evoke images of angels we can't comprehend so you can shoot em for points. Pros: +Unique art style, I have never seen a game with UI like this. It's bold! +There are a lot of difficulty options and ways to play with mode Arcade modes and progressive skill modes which give you new weapons and upgrades to make the latter stages easier. + Mechanically, it's got some depth with the stamina recharge, enemy bullet deletion / movement with your sub-type shots, and it has a lot more leeway for failure and extra hits than other SHMUP's would give you. Cons: - The music is, uhh, strange. It's not bad, just kind of ill-fitting for the type of game this is. Maybe it's on purpose? Overall, I enjoyed my time with Angel at Dusk and I recommend it to people who can engage with it for newcomers to the genre or even veterans looking for something that looks fresh! 9/10, really fun game.

Picked it up for being an Akiragoya SHMUP on sale with the variety of the giger-esque biopunk art. Found it to be a lot of fun. Arcade has several ships to unlock, while there is a 'campaign' mode focused on incremental upgrades and equipment loot drop upgrades to a single ship. The only minor negative is that it looks like the alternate arcade ships were not added to the campaign mode, which is a bit of a shame. Recommended.
很不错的stg游戏,对老年人不太友好23333
Not really a shmup person but I loved this one. Don't be deceived by some of the suggestive art, this is a quite bleak and sometimes surprisingly scientific sci-fi story that deals with themes like sapience, identity, transhumanism and entropy among many others. It is told exclusively in the form of unlockable lore excerpts which gradually help to create a larger picture through a timeline across millions of years. The way it builds up from the distant past in various eras across history, all the way into the current events was a satisfying reveal. I will add however that as someone who mostly played the game for its narrative, I would've preferred if the last few lore entries hadn't been locked behind so much grinding. My second reason for playing it was the art, having some really creative body horror and fantastic designs with a unique style, using a mixture of the grotesque and the beautiful in a contrasting but coherent way. The designs of the angels from the unlockable artwork are particularly remarkable. I can't speak much for the gameplay but I did have a nice time. I particularly want to note the extended tutorial, which acts as a standalone experience, in an "interactive essay" of sorts, a concept I don't think I've seen before in a game, to introduce and explain the appeal of shmups as a whole. While I'll admit it hasn't converted me (I still think they're not really for me) I do believe I have a better appreciation of the genre now. Very much looking forward to what this pervert does in the future.
not sure if it's a good shmup, but it does tickle my fancy shall I say
WTF ... my first Shmup and it is soooo good. Outstanding visuals and a very nice flow. BANGER!!!
