Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good game, not for kids
Zapomenutá variace na JRPG ve stylu Final Fantasy, která byla tak dobrá, že finančně selhala a vedla k zániku legendárního studia Ion Storm. Zároveň vtipná, šílená, filmová a nápady napráskaná kombinace širokého spektra videoherních žánrů plná absurdních postav (robot se sklony s sebevraždě, zkrachovalý alkoholický superhrdina, technologicky zmenšená planeta s excentrickou povahou...) a ještě absurdnějších situací (mluvící kurzor myši). A to cokoliv je neskutečně..... ehm.... no..... bizardní. ''You know the difference between you and the you five minutes ago? The you five minutes ago had five minutes to live.''

This is such a fun little RPG with amazing turn-based tactics mechanics and storyline. I've played this through once before, and I love playing through it again years later, too.. The comedy, the story, the dynamics of everything going on here, it's hard to describe, but great to play. Fantasy mixed with science fiction, all in one.
I was... very bored while playing this game. As other reviews have stated, the combat system is lackluster to put it nicely. It is incredibly bare-bones, with only the very limited ability to move characters around slightly to buoy it at all. You barely do more than press the attack button. Even within JRPG combat, this pales in comparison to Final Fantasy. And not only is it dull, but it also tried to use the active combat system of FFVI/FFVII (which was annoying in those games, too), which only serves to add pressure and annoyance to the bland encounters. Other reviews have commented on the humor buoying a mediocre plot and bad game play. While I agree to the latter two, but there was rather little in what I played that even got a smirk, and nothing I would consider to be actually funny. Further, the story is intentionally a bit dark - murders, organized crime, corrupt law enforcement - which can make the attempts at humor extremely jarring, especially when at least part of the humor relies on childish "gross-out" humor. For example, you're trying to find an information broker to get access to a tunnel claimed by a gangster, but you're informed that you need to bring an "offering" to him in the form of "something chewy" because apparently this guy can only concentrate while chewing on something, and apparently being stinky is also beneficial. So you literally have to fetch a stinky sock as a quest item. Not just a stinky sock, but it goes into - and repeats multiple times - the details of it being
"marinated" in pus from a gangrenous foot for several months
. And this is just played for laughs, including a cartoonish green cloud hanging around it. And yes, the information broker puts it in his mouth. And this "mission" and "comedy" comes right on the heels of finding a woman who is bed bound after having half her limbs removed by some danger in the tunnels you are trying to get into. A woman drinking and smoking to alleviate the depression that she will be crippled for the rest of her life comes just before getting the most disgusting thing the writers could think of for someone to stick in their mouth. If you don't see the tonal clash there, and think the situation described above is funny, then this game was made for you. For the rest of us, I do not recommend. And as a much more minor point than the above, the game also shows its age in a big way, and wasn't even fair for its day. This game came out the same year as Halo, FFX, and Grand Theft Auto III; and yet its graphics look like they were made for the N64. And not like charmingly N64, but the N64 games that tried to push for "good" graphics and ended up being disturbingly ugly. Further, the QoL and UI are horrendous, not able to tell if they want the mouse to click the environment or control the camera, and so resulting in an awkward hybrid of both. So in summary, this game has an underwhelming story, bad gameplay, humor that ranges from underwhelming to actively detrimental to its tone, horrendously ugly visuals, and an understandable but still frustrating lack of common quality of life features. So save yourself the time and money and pass on this game. If you want a retro space RPG, I would recommend Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. That game still holds up well today despite releasing just 2 years after this one, and has infinitely better writing, gameplay, and story.
Game of the Year
Play it. I went in knowing nothing about this game. It's really unlike anything I have played before. A western JRPG, set in a sci-fi world full of oddness that feels new despite this game's age. Sure, it has elements of many other sci-fi stories in it. I found that I actually cared about the characters, and it was surprisingly funny for a game over 20 years old. The combat takes a minute to get use to if you don't play turn-based fighting games. But I would recommend going into this game blind and figuring out things as you go. And sure the graphics are old, but who really cares? I would rather have a game with a good story than good graphics. If you like old-ass RPGs, play this game.
