it's like important, and its kinda scary but like dude talk about dog shxt puzzles holy. I still recommend it since it's only like 6 or 7 *hands up and down* hours long and the story is actually pretty cool the way it's revealed.
Just to say, this has been an experience. Taken me years to get round to finishing it. But I put this down to the intense fear it creates in you. Was generally afraid to pick it up again too soon lol

Best horror game
One of the best all-time horror classics out there. The atmosphere is amazing probably one of the best out of any games I've played. The game doesn't rely on jumpscares and it's still insanely scary especially when it's 3 am and all the lights in your room are turned off. The story was also suprisingly interesting and I enjoyed every bit of it. The game is so good that it inspired lots of horror game developers. The most famous example is Outlast. You would see a lot of similarities in both games. When you take notes of something in here has a similar animation to when capturing something with your camera in outlast. The leaning in both games, the supernatural entities (The shadow/Wallrider), Chris walker from outlast looks like the brutes, your source of light relies on somewhat scarce materials (Oil or tinderboxes/Batteries) Overall an amazing horror experience would definitely recommend!

Игра на 10/10 руки левел-дизайнера целовал, ещё подметил насколько разраб всё-таки гений что сделал шкалу рассудка у вас с героем одну на двоих. Горжусь собой что прошёл её без каких либо подсказок и гайдов и почти без затупов(они были ближе к концу) и грёбаный чёртов мост в канализации я его просто ммм... кстати где-то на середине игры понял что в ней есть рус. локализация (до этого было тяжко) и ещё только при прохождении ДЛС узнал про наклоны и прокрутку предметов в воздухе. Стоит ещё отдать должное то что игра 2010 года а выглядит и играется получше многих современных ААА проектов.
i do recoomend it. Its not that scary though. In fact there is only one level in the main game that actually tries to kill you. The rest of the game is more trying to scare you without a real threat. This destroys the experience a little. I still had fun though.
One of the first games I ever played, and it stuck with me for all the good reasons! Intense and terrifying - especially when I first played it through as a teenager. I will never forget how my heart was in my throat for the majority of this game. The story is super interesting too, just adds to the game and makes it less of a "jump-scares-with-no-substance" sort of game. Highly recommend.
