Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I saw some bad reviews for many of the AC games being played on newer versions of Windows- meaning, the game was lambasted as unplayable, but I knew this was an old gem in the modern rough so I found a pathway to make this work. If on a newer version of Windows: Go to your OCS drive > select "Program Files (x86) > go to "Steam" > go to "Steam apps" > go to "Common" > go to "American Conquest: Fight Back" > scroll down and right click on "dmcr" > select "properties" > select "compatibility" > set "compatibility mode" to Windows XP service pack 3 > check off "reduce colored mode" to enable 8-bit (this should prevent any display glitches) Past this point the game should run smoothly. Was worth the hassle figuring this out, the game is a classic.
Reseña de American Conquest: Fight Back

Historia6Funcional y temática; no esperes narrativa cinematográfica.

A good RTS for it's type. - Several nations to play from. - Standalone expansion. It's a little improvement on the original - Good variety of missions and campaigns - Playthroughs are lengthy. - Graphics are outdated for this time but still play well. - Unit types matter, there is unbalancing which makes a huge difference. - Sheer amount of units you can use in play is great. - Battles and field vision will have you scrolling up and down and all around a little crazily. - Defences make a big difference - Managing resources and troops is vital - If you're an average RTS player then this may be a little complex for you. - Can be buggy but there are fixes on steam discussion you can find. - For the price is a great buy for any real RTS fan. Buy on sale if anything. - DLC is not required for a good experience. Overall 7.5/10
Just like Battle Realms, You need Peasants to train units. 8/10. Good
classic old game you picked up in your uncle's or grandpa's room when you were young. well aged graphics and good gameplay/gamedynamics. of course the AI gets predictable - similar to all "cossacks" games
it is very good when you learn everything youll suffer but its worth it
Gran clásico, sigue siendo un buen juego
American conquest is my favorite childhood game and I still love coming back to it. Thank you developers.
