Loyalty carries a price and no one knows this more than agent Michael Thorton. A talented young agent cast out by his government, Thorton is the only one with the information needed to stop an impending international catastrophe.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 21 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this is not Obsidian's magnum opus.
If you can get by how bugy this game is & if you don't handicap yourself like i did with skills, it's a fun game, I did complete Pacifist & least detection run & Menace Run aswell, You need to mod the game to make it more enjoyable, The branching choices are pretty good & culminate on final mission It's made by obsidian so it has 4 dialogue options, Suave/Agressive/Professional/Special, & you can piss off factions & individuals & the consequences play out well, On Vanilla i don't reccomend this jankbugfest game, The most fun fact is characters in the game commenting on how you did your job, oh you didn't kill anyone & stayed undetected, Characters Congrats you vs Your a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reckless menace of a murderer dialogue, I reccomend alpha protocol revived on nexus mods & you can find all the fixes in steam guides if you need them. 5/10 game.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I feel scammed. If the intro didn't take so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long, I would've refunded this. I was going in hoping for a spy game focused on stealth. But for a stealth game, it feels like one made by somebody who's never touched a single stealth game in their lives. This is a 2010 game, how does it feel at least 6 years older than that? Enemies have hair-trigger detection, instant without a millisecond in between. The enemy routes are confusing as ♥♥♥♥. Enemies turn 180 degrees in an instant during patrol, but sometimes they'll stay in one spot for an undetermined amount of minutes before deciding to gain sentience and move again. If you get spotted, the guns are only competent at melee range - at which point just press the melee button. All of this adds up to make this feel like some normal third person game where stealth is an afterthought that you're not actually supposed to take seriously or go far with in any given level.
If you understand Obsidian’s design philosophy, this game is an unmatched masterclass in narrative reactivity. The stance-based dialogue system completely trivializes Mass Effect's superficial illusion of choice. Complaints about janky controls are overstated. Unbelievably, I can’t award this beyond a 9.8/10 due to one creative failure: the utter non-existence of Mario. Imagine replacing Thorton with a tactical Mario infiltrating oligarch safehouses. Picture an agonizing timed dialogue choice where a grizzled Mario must decide whether to neutralize a rogue Toad handler—all while wearing kevlar over his denim overalls. The dramatic tension of an Italian plumber unraveling a global military-industrial conspiracy is a colossal wasted concept. Customizing Thorton’s rifle just leaves me filled with a hollow sorrow that I’m not running covert ops as Nintendo's golden boy.
play it.
YES
Great and creative RPG. Tons of decisions to make, hidden plots to uncover, and an interesting story. Unfortunately, there is a lot of jank and poor game design decisions (like the impossibility of making a full "stealth no kills" run in a spy game). But overall it's enjoyable and original game from the golden era in video games, where developers could make attractive female characters and over-the-top personalities.
Mass Effect if it had good reactivity and was a proper RPG. Really. This is one of the best games Obsidian ever made.
