Alone in the Dark

Play on Hard because you want a challenge, game is okay, little tricky due to limited resources, then final boss fight turns into Elden Ring. No thank you. 99% completed but not finishing.

Многим не нравится игра из-за кисельной боевки,медленного темпа как боев так и игры в целом,кривого и неудобного управления,малого разнообразия врагов.Но стоит посмотреть первоисточник,оригинальную часть 1992 года,переосмыслением которой является Alone In The Dark 2024 года.Разрабы постарались точнее перенести историю из начала 90-х.Специально смотрел как выглядит первая часть,ибо играть в трилогию сейчас просто не вынесу.И перенесли достаточно точно,за исключением графона и немного сюжет изменили. Тут нет экшена,это детективная история с относительно малым количеством боевых столкновений,с бОльшим количеством загадок,атмосферы и неопределенности.С такими данными удобное управление и резкая боевка испортили бы все впечатление от прохождения. Поэтому выше перечисленное никак не помешало пройти 2 раза игру,за разных персонажей,и получить свою долю удовольствия. Вопросов к геймплею,музыке,картинке и сюжету не имею,они вполне меня устроили.А вот к качеству проделанной работы вопросики есть. Не часто доводится видеть как в кат-сцене персонаж высовывается наполовину модельки в закрытое окно,и как стакан с выпивкой передают прямо в печень а не в руки персонажа.Несколько раз застревал в текстурах ближе к концу игры,лечилось загрузкой.Еще игра довольно часто подтормаживала,вплоть до фризов редких. Ну и карта порой неправильно отображала что комната еще не зачищена,и там еще что-то можно взять,хотя обчистил комнату очень внимательно,это путает и заставляет перепроверять такие комнаты после каждого сюжетного события. В игре несколько концовок,включая забавную концовку как намек на то что делали с серией после первой части. Мысленно сравнивал с другой значимой частью серии Alone In The Dark: The New Nightmare. Где прохождения за разных героев различались довольно сильно,тут же это малозаметно,что расстраивает.Хотелось бы больше влияния одного прохождения на другое. Игру пытались возродить не в первый раз,но что-то ей не везет с перезапусками.Остается надеяться что возможно когда-нибудь увидим качественное переосмысление других частей серии,все-таки родоначальник жанра survival-horror. Рекомендую брать только по хорошей скидке(~50%) чтобы сильно не плеваться от того что увидите,и глянуть как выглядел и игрался первоисточник.

It really doesn't add anything new to the genre. Just mixes together Silent Hill and Resident Evil in a boring way.

Graphiquement Correct ! J'ai eu des lag seulement sur certaines cinématique sinon le jeu en lui même et très fluide. L'histoire n'est pas trop mal, on cherche à suivre... Pour la difficulté je recommande fortement de mètre au max des le début car le jeu n'est vraiment pas difficile.... Ceux qui connaisse pas, c'est un genre de résident evil croisé avec silent hill en mode light. Maintenant je vais le refaire avec la nénette ;)

TENGO MUCHO QUE DECIR DEL JUEGO No la pase mal es muy parecido a los silent hill o resident evil viejos SE QUE ES UN REMAKE PERO NO JUGUE EL ORIGINAL Me gusto el combate es basico pero cumple. recomiendo la primera partida jugarla con emily se siente mas personal. los acertijos estaban bien. la estetica y sonidos me gustaban demasiado de verdad no esta bien optimizado se traba casi todo el tiempo. el mapa es un poco raro no esta bien echo muchas veces me trabe con el entorno por que el personaje lo traspasaba siento que el juego merece un buen puntaje pero su rendimientos y bugs lo bajan demasiado lo compre en oferta y eso es lo que aconcejo de evrdad la pase bien y volvere a jugar seguro pero con el otro personaje lei que cambian algunas cositas la historia es rarisima entendi de a ratos la verdad no logre cazarla del todo peroe so ya es tema mio PARA MI ES UN SI PERO SEPAN QUE NO ES UNA JOYA TAMPOCO ES QUE SEA NEFASTO ENTRETIENE

First off, when playing turn OFF dof(Depth of field) because it will make you puke. But lets get to it: This is a labor of love. But, somehow, an incomplete experience. It´s finished but it´s unfinished. Purely as a remake it excells but as a game, in itself, it falls, sadly, waaaay short of what it should have become. Could have become, certainly. It is just INCREDIBLY short. And the world itself, although great to look at is just, sadly, 100% rigid. With no physics based objects ANYWHERE. Something that has been a given for these kinds of games for the last 20+ years. So that is very akward. Npc´s, sadly, go into the same cagetory. Altough they move they do not react to anything actually. Fire a fiew bullets into the ground around them and you will understand. I mean we have had better for decades now. I already owned and finished it on consoles but wanted to own it on pc as well. Being able to play as two of great english speaking popular actors of the time Jodie Comer and David Harbour just makes this a pleasure regardless. No matter what. They play their parts so well and all of their lines are so real. Without them this game would be a joke. Honestly. But they breathe life into it. The game becomes like a short(very short) novella. And(except maybe with "The last express") I really cannot think of a lot of projects that pull this off. Even if involentarily? Do not expect to much from the game but just glance over it, maybe let it inspire you or scratch an itch because for that it is really good. Put a little of your own senses into it, just appreciate the textures, the mansion itself(you know what I mean), feel a little more into it than it would let you, as the game that it is, and you will be rewarded. Also, while likely not being on the list of any true horror game fanatic it has, for sure, one of the most messed up endings available(Carnby bad ending) you can imagine(and I cannot believe that this was allowed). Depending on your playstayle and the collectibles you gather. I found it really disturbing. You didn´t? Well, mayby you`re a danger for us all.
