Yet within nature’s beauty, a corruption spreads. Root it out and cure the fungi threat that devours all other life. Uncover lost knowledge, brew powerful antidotes, enrich the biodiversity of the islands, and restore balance to the airborne ecosystem.

Aloft’s feel-good survival is more about rewarding positive action than punishing mistakes.
The sky provides everything you need; cook up delicious meals for buffs, gather resources to craft tools, and explore to find new technology. Soar the open sky freely and discover ancient ruins to uncover the secrets of the past.

Soar the open skies in a vast sandbox world and turn any island into your personal skyship.
Build and customize it into your personal home. With a helm, rudder, and sails constructed, you are ready to sail the winds and explore the skies. You are the captain of your adventure!

The wind is an ever-present ally in Aloft.
Install windmills and a network of cables and pulleys to automate your machines and production. Fly into strong winds to supercharge your crafting power and sailing speed, but make sure your sails can handle it.

Each island is its own living ecosystem, vulnerable to unsustainable gathering and the fungi corruption.

Collect seeds and animals on your travels and bring them to your home island.
Plant various crops in your garden to cook up delicious recipes, and care for the cuddliest of animals to gain rare resources. Form a true bond by meeting all their needs, and they will even protect you.

Creativity lies at the heart of Aloft, which can be enjoyed as a peaceful solo experience or with up to 7 other players.
Bring your entire island base when you join another player’s world, and create a small village of sky explorers. Use the in-game island creator to design anything you can imagine, then share it with the community to populate their worlds.
Craft the island of your dreams, challenge the corruption, restore balance, and express your creativity in the limitless skies of Aloft.
See you in the clouds!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Played casually with a friend and it was really refreshing to play something with a different style, I'm excited to see how far it goes and what new things the devs will implement.
super pretty and very relaxing. simple to do solo, but much more fun with friends
I don't leave reviews very often, especially if something is still in early access, but I had to for this. First and foremost... the bees are smiling... enough said. I'm just about an hour in at this point, but the experience has been downright delightful overall. I've barely claimed my own island which I could have probably done 30 minutes sooner if I hadn't been exploring so much and admiring the scenery along the way. That said, it's the little things that have made this an enjoyable experience so far. The wind first and foremost, if you're in a game that involves flying around like an air bender and piloting a literal island, the wind itself aught to feel like it has a presence. I should be able to feel the breeze through my screen, have a sense for the way it moves through the grass and the leaves, and I honestly get that sense. Even through the majestic music playing in the background, I can hear the whirs and whisps of the breeze as it passes by. Even the music itself adds a layer of wonder. When you walk up to certain points of interest, and the world around you seems to drown out save for you, the music, and the moment, you really feel like you've stumbled upon something special. The words of wisdom when you uncover a lost piece of history (getting research points) are whimsical and refreshing, like the civilizations of the past managed to leave a part of themselves beyond the relics of their floating islands. It's early access, so there's some quirks to the game for sure. The movement feels a bit... off? I've kind of gotten used to it by now, but moving around on land feels like I have a ball and chain attached to me, and as poetic as that is considering how smooth gliding through the air is, I've often just used my glider to get on top of something instead of outright climbing. Combat is okay. I didn't pick this up thinking I was going to be playing Remnant or Dying Light or anything extreme. It's fairly simple so far. I've only encountered one enemy that looks like a deep-fried mushroom. Smack it once or twice, take a step back to dodge. Smack it again. Rinse. Repeat. There's been a couple of times where there's, let's say, 5-6 feet between me and the enemy, and somehow I've still taken damage from its attack when it seems like I should have been fine. Maybe as the game develops, the combat will be fleshed out a bit more. (Maybe it's already in the game and I haven't discovered it yet, but I wouldn't mind having a bow and arrow). Overall though, nothing can compare to the feeling of putting my home island in motion for the first time. A few sails, rudders, etc, and I was on my way. It's like finding that special spot where you're going to build your home in Minecraft. I knew when I saw this island, I wanted and hoped that I could make it mine. I don't know how random the island generation is, if it is at all. This island was a step backwards from where the game kind of ushered me along once it first taught you how to use the glider. Straight ahead was a trails of endless floating islands, but behind was this lone floating treasure. Multiple tiers of solid stone covered in grass and flowers led up to a massive tree that I want to nickname Grandmother Willow because compared to every other tree on the island, it was absolutely massive. I'm not even going to try to find out if I could chop it down because it's the high point of my island, and directly below it are two waterfalls feeding into a central pond. I found the island had bees, and on closer inspection, they had little smiley faces. Compared to some of the islands, this thing is just massive, and I'm sure there are some that are far larger as well, but sure enough, I was able to claim it as my home. As I understand it, there's ways of transporting animals across islands, ways to plant crops and truly make your island a home, and I'm looking forward to losing myself in the game, becoming little more than a wandering leaf carried by the breeze.
I love this game so much. It's such a chill game, great for relaxing after a rough day at work. The updates keep making it better and better.
