About
Allumeria takes a classic voxel sandbox and combines it with in-depth progression through exploration, dungeon crawling and boss battles. You will constantly be discovering new weapons, abilities, resources, enemies, structures, mechanics and tools. The game has a strong focus on discovery and creative freedom.
Allumeria provides advanced building tools not present in other games. You can change the shape of any block on the fly. Want glass stairs? Want a dirt fence? You can do it! Allumeria has a full RGB light engine. Create dimly lit cozy cabins, or bright neon cities. Monsters only spawn on natural blocks, so you are free to experiment with dark and light! The Paint Roller allows you to paint ANY block in the game, with no limitations. Want to use bricks, but grey isn't your style? Just paint them blue! Multiple palettes are available, from colourful, to earthy, to pastel.
Allumeria focuses on providing an in-depth experience for every biome. Your story starts in the forest biome, and you will travel to other biomes in a quest to become more powerful. Each biome has brand new resources, enemies, mechanics, dungeons and bosses, top to bottom. A single biome represents an entire new chapter of your story, not just a new grass colour.
Allumeria has a simple but diverse combat system. As you progress, more abilities and weapons open up. Start with simple swords and crossbows, then expand your arsenal with explosive bombs, shock arrows, fart guns, snowball cannons, boomerangs, shuriken launchers, frying pans, baguettes, and a myriad of other wacky items. You will uncover equippable trinkets that expand your movement abilities, allowing you to sprint, granting regeneration, gliding, flying, jumping and climbing.
Allumeria is an Early Access game. This means the game is going to continue being updated with new content and fixes to improve it even more, with community feedback in mind. The game has already been shaped by many peoples ideas, suggestions and bug reports, and it will continue to improve with your help. The game is already packed full of content, but there is so, so much room to grow.

ive been on ts since day mfing 1 back when it was on itch n ♥♥♥♥ and im here 4 melon the whole way thru. keep up the good work
The world is vibrant, the building has an easy flow to work with, and the caving is by far the best part of the game! It's similar to beta Minecraft caving, where it feels endless, mobs can be around every corner, and there's always something to explore. The combat is simple, but for the amount of mobs that tend to spawn, I find it balances it out. That being said, there are flaws (ignoring bugs.) There is way too much loot to be found in caves, and I'm not including ores. I almost never have to craft torches, especially sticky ones, and the accessories are so abundant, I feel like I'm skipping progression/not appreciating them. Cotton, throwable items (such as darts,) and all the crate items really, need to be halved. I 100% understand wanting a finite world, and I'm not advocating for it to be endless, but the world as it is, is pitifully tiny. It takes less than an ingame day to reach the world border, the cut off is ugly, and the biomes themselves aren't big enough in general. Especially if you want to build villages for NPCs, or just make large builds in general. The dev wants the world to be compact and full of content, and plenty of people are saying it already is, but I don't agree. While the caving is fun, it's all just the same with little variation, and the mobs feel like reskins at a certain point. I understand this is early access, but if everyone is making the comparison to Terraria, they have world sizes, underground biomes, spaced out loot, etc... And speaking of Terraria, there is an overwhelming influence for this game. Potions, no durability on items, the bosses themselves, the character being sent to different worlds, fishing up crates, the UI, etc... I have no problem with them being in the game, I'm glad it's like this, but it doesn't feel unique enough for me. Even though I see the influence of other games in here, it really just feels like Allumeria is 3D Terraria rather than it's own thing, but I think that'll change as it progresses. Still, a lot of people are calling this Minecraft 2, and compared to Minecraft, there's almost nothing in common aside from blocks. You're setting yourself up for disappointment, it's not that type of game, at least right now. TLDR: It's fun for what it is right now, but it's very rough around the edges. If you like Terraria, I think you'll like this game, but if you're expecting this to be just like Minecraft or Vintage Story, you're probably not going to enjoy it.

gives me back the vibes. where i did not know how to play Minecraft or Terraria back then.
Fun game. like Minecraft but def has it's differences. I am getting some severe stuttering after about 10 minutes of gameplay. hope that gets fixed
Progression: 8/10 It's linear and follows a pattern of caving>dungeoning>bossfight and repeat (aside from the first boss and dungeon). The dungeons and bosses are different enough that this pattern doesn't get stale. Dungeons: 9/10 Each dungeon has different challenges and unique loot that makes it very enjoyable to complete before you fight the boss. The loot in the dungeon is typically exclusive to the dungeon too which makes it worthwhile. Bosses: 8/10 They are fairly difficult if you fight them unprepared. Preparing with proper gear within progression and with speed & armor potions will make most bosses easier. Aside from the 3rd boss, speed & armor potions don't feel required. Combat: 8/10 There are so many different weapons in the game so there's no one correct loadout. Each enemy and boss has specific strategies they are weak to. This makes each encounter very fun as you'll need a variety of weapons. Though melee combat isn't very useful in boss fights where ranged weapons reign supreme. Loot: 10/10 Trinkets and unique weapons make looting a blast. There's funny and silly loot that will put a smile on your face like the fart gun or frying pan. Building: 10/10 Rocket boots, and gliders make it easy to build as if you had free flight. Flight potions also help while building. You can reshape any block into any shape and color any block lots of different colors using the paint rollers. This leads to endless building possibilities even with the content the game currently has. Wallpaper also helps add an extra layer of depth to the building. NPCs: 6/10 Very buggy at times. NPCs will disappear and you'll need to save and quit for them to come back. The comfort system has had issues though I haven't tested it with the hotfixes. Each NPC sells cool and unique items that are very fun to use. 8.4/10 Very fun game!
Most Minecraft/Terraria "clones" tend to struggle with terrain variety, especially underground areas, but the caves in Allumeria are absolutely insane. They're massive, varied, and there's always something new to discover. I'm still pretty early in terms of progression and equipment, but the constant feeling of moving forward and discovering new things is incredibly rewarding. Allumeria takes some of the best elements of both Minecraft and Terraria while bringing plenty of its own ideas to the table. There's still a bit of jank here and there, which is to be expected from an Early Access game, but I can already see myself sinking a lot of hours into this. The developer is also pushing out updates at a rapid pace, which makes me excited to see where the game goes. Definitely one to keep an eye on if you enjoy this kind of game.
cave scary
Terraria but 3d...Holdon
Very solid block game if you like the building of Minecraft with the gameplay loop of Terraria. Still some early access jank though.
After months of anticipation, I must say this game certainly has lived up to my expectations. In fact, it has gone beyond that! As a fan of both Minecraft and Terraria since childhood, as well as many other games of the nature, this game provides the best of both while having its own identity. I haven't been able to stop playing Allumeria. I really do look forward to this game's future as it has so much potential, and it truly is a gem.
