Build your Marine the way you want. Level up in each of 7 unique classes or be a master of one. Choose your weapon – everything from magnums and SMGs to rocket launchers – and use over 130 unique perks to create the build of your choice.
Level your character through 7 Class Kits, each with two unique abilities to use in combat and unlockable perks. Max out a variety of weapons, powering them up in stats the more you use them.

This is a fun little coop action shooter. Although it misses the mark slightly on all fronts. The shooting - I played this on PC with a mouse and keyboard. Boy did I struggle with the mouse controls. After almost 25 years of playing shooters using a mouse, the sensitivity was simply off. Internet research revealed that this was a problem for the very beginning and for the best experience I had to reduce the polling rate to 500 Hz and change the configuration files to disable mouse deceleration. Otherwise the shooting mechanics were fun. The different character builds were also fun. The difficulty - I enjoyed the flexible aspect of the difficult. The casual difficulty was a great time on coop with friends who are less experienced with shooters. The other difficulty modes though presented a great to unreasonable challenge, depending on masochistic you are feeling. The coop experience - Was fairly good, despite the less than ideal player count. Random matchmaking was okay. When you didn't find teammates for coop, the bots are great in a pinch. Environment - Honestly, it was less scary for an Aliens game than I thought it would be. But that's not a bad thing. Helped me enjoy the feeling of mowing down aliens a lot more. Overall - I would have probably enjoyed it more had I not been playing the frankly superior game that is Spacemarine 2. Unlike Spacemarine 2, this is the kind of game you may not want to revisit unless you're teaming up with friends for a coop run. 7/10 - enjoyed it, but it was basically a one and done for me.
