About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Whatever happens first, either a couple patches to make this game reach it's true potential or a sale. Definitely a fun game specially for fans of the franchise.

Uhh... yeah it's good. I will say putting entirely new (and borderline OP) weapons out as DLC on day one is a 1000% d*ck move. But as for the game it improves in just about every way on the first game, which I also enjoyed. More customization options, more missions, more enemy types, more weapons. Graphical improvements are relatively minor, but it still looks good. Some minor issues with lip syncing during cutscenes and minor quality of life issues but it's still early days and there's already been one big patch that took care of some of this. There's some *really* cringey characters and dialogue but I didn't buy it for the story, I bought it to kill the xeno, burn the heretic, and purge the unclean and all that. Unskippable cutscenes on the replay need to go, but again these are minor irritations that I'm sure will get corrected in the log run. Looking forward to playing this game for awhile yet, the unlockables as you move up and the specialist class have a lot of interesting end game content that, at least 22 hours in, I'm still looking forward to.
Game is more of the same as the first one and I am all for it; however, I am glad I am playing it for the combat and not the story. The dialogue between the characters is absolutely horrible. It really really kills the atmosphere when the characters say ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like "pew pew", "opsie doopsie", and "... spicy like a chicken sandwich." It feels like the characters are talking to a class room of kindergarteners rather then talking to a Marine going on life or death missions. Again, the combat is fun and the only real reason to play it.
I like this game a lot, but i just can't recommend it. silly stuff that ruins the experience. example? mission 6. you go through a door. self detonation sequence activates. big alien right behind door. my entire squad rolled back to back away from the alien. door shuts and locks. prevented from progressing. now i have to do redo the ENTIRE mission again. it was a long one. there has to be some sort of way to prevent that. absolutely infuriating.
GG
Basically more of the first game, and worse writing. Now they have these garbage videos with girl bosses that show up... But the overall mechanics are an improvement. Fun and hopefully they'll add a no video mode soon to suppress the awefull story/dialog crap.
I shoot aliens and those damn synths!
I love aliens.
Pretty fun game so far
