About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

With about 200 hours and literally every gun four-starred, I'm a fan of the first game. This game is--in all of the ways that matter--for better or worse, simply more of that. That's not necessarily a great thing (you get the dubious privilege of unlocking and ranking the same guns again, plus a few new ones). But it's also, you know, more of the same, which was fun the first time. The reviews that lambast the writing are dead on. It's significantly worse than the first game. I did admittedly enjoy how the game opener unironically makes a "Banshee" team consist of three unqualified women, they fail spectacularly, and this is then in no way acknowledged whatsoever. Modern game writing is not, dare I say, self-aware. But the guns are good, the classes well differentiated, different builds possible and entertaining, and once you get a sense of how to deal with the elite enemies, you won't end up getting bullied in a corner (which feels so awkward it makes you question the game design fundamentals). It's like Aliens Fireteam Elite 1 just got a moderate map refresh (it's not like these environments stray far from the Aliens universe norms) and a playerbase boost so you can revisit that game. Priced a bit high given that fact. If you're new to the series, buy it on sale and you'll surely find people like me who feel compelled to four-star every weapon (again) and are spamming quickplay join happy to help out players just getting into the game. If you like the Aliens universe vibes and decent 3rd person action, it doesn't have the grandiose poetic battlefield chaos of Helldivers 2, but it IS solid and scratches the co-op action itch.
TL:DR score: Not worth the price
Through all the glitches and underwhelming gameplay, I managed to beat it with my friends. If you want a decent shooter in the Alien aesthetic, play the first fireteam elite. Gameplay: -Choose from 5 base classes with a 6th specialist class (You can use abilities and perks unlocked from other classes to make your own blend of character) -You run objective to objective to spawn hordes of aliens -Large parts of levels are recycled for later missions Glitches Experienced: -Team mate getting locked behind doors after returning to an area -Getting stuck in the environment -Guns and equipment glitching out and obstructing your view -Enemies getting stuck in spawn doors on far away parts of the map which you need to kill to progress Redeeming Qualities? - Unlocking things through the regular classes to cobble your own special breed of warfighter was a fun concept - Some mechanics brought through from the first game are still here, although I can't say they were really expanded upon - Allowing 4 players vs the odd decision of 3 from the first title Conclusion if this sold at $25, one might be able to overlook the little polish, buggy mess, hollow shell wearing the fireteam elite name. Wait for a deeply discounted sale folks.
good
GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER!!!!!!!!!!
Highly not recommended.
ATHE GAME IS GREAT BESIDES THE GLITCHES RANDOM MOUSE CURSOR POPS UP AND FREEZES CHARACTER AND MSOT TIIMES I CANT PICK UP HEALTH NEED PATCHES THE GAME HAS GOTTEN WORSE SINCE LAUNCH
I wish I could give the game a good review as I really liked the first one. But AFTE2 is an unfinished, unpolished game with way too many flaws at the moment to recommend it. Bug and glitches are all over the place: from unresponsive keys, to bug preventing you to pick up items or to reload, door preventing you to progress with the group. Campaign is ok - not very inspired and writing is clearly not as developed as the first one. The NPCs are chatters are unbearable and the global tone of the military is clearly not... military. The only NPC that shines ? Wrench and his birds fun facts. Otherwise, dialogues are a logorrhoea so thick that only a person with masochistic tendencies or a severe case of boredom would endure. Remember the guy at the bar that is so smug that he talks just to hear himself talk ? That's the NPC chatter in a nutshell. Once end-game is reached with the Horde mode, well - the grind is here and it can be fun to play a bit with for while. Afterthat... Meeh Wait for it to be on sale to buy.
This game isnt good....BUT, it is fun which makes it a good game. Arguably, the second most iconic noise or sound effect in the entire Aliens series is the sound of the Pulse rifle....WHICH IS MISSING FROM THE GAME FOR SOME REASON. What a ♥♥♥♥ up... Also, 80% of the characters in the game are cliche girl boss stereotypes that just scream at you the entire game. Also full of millenial female "Witty and Quirky" dialogue that completely deflates any tension or build up.
Buggy mess.
what A LIDL SLOP, man if you cant do it right just dont do it this is GARBAGE and a cash grab...
