About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Reviews
While there are some definite upgrades from the first Aliens: Fireteam Elite, and while there are certainly some work to be done to call it a worthy successor to the first game, I think the replay value is high enough to warrant a recommendation. The weapons feel good, the Xenomorphs are far less predictable, the sense of danger even on Standard is high, and the dopamine hit on a headshot will definitely keep me coming back. For the reviewers that comment on all of the female characters... I'm not sure what you were expecting from the Alien franchise, a franchise that is notorious for female characters—Ellen Ripley, Amanda Ripley, Call (Winona Ryder, Alien: Resurrection) Daniels (Alien: Covenant), Rain (Alien: Romulus), Hayes (Aliens: Dark Descent)—just to name a few. I do agree that the player character female models could use a lot more variety, for sure. But the characters are fine, and if you have a problem as a player taking orders from a female character, that says pages more about you than it does about them.

Lost 36hrs of progression with the most recent patch. I was having fun too. The game had bugs but and thats to be expected of a new release but this is completely unacceptable
This is a $30 game. At best. When you factor in the HORRIBLE writing and GRLBOSS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ throughout, this game is NOT recommended. Many better games for $50. Yeesh. The game play is very fun! the action is clean when it doesn't stutter( I assume that will get resolved quickly) and the weapons and loadouts are pretty cool and diverse. With that said, the agony of listening to 7th grade writing from Sweet Baby idiots is too much. If you ARE going to buy this game, when you get back to your ship, just mute and skip the dialogue. You'll thank me later.
Overall great game 8.6 / 10 Price bit high for the amount of content... played over 100 hours on 1st game and have over 20 on AFTE2 beat game content is on my youtube channel Tavern Gamerz Not much to say negative other then price games run smooth is fun has more characters/customizations and lots of quality of life changes plus 4 player action!!! You get to fight the QUEEN not run away like in 1st game. new Classes and Pathegon content already here. Not sure why so many negative reviews I had a blast!
It's a 7/10. Yeah there are some bugs and optimization issues they need to patch up. Plus the cut scenes and voice lines are kinda wonky, but if you liked the first game you'll enjoy this one. The game doesn't redefine the co-op shooter genre, but then again the developers never claimed they were trying to do that. Simply if you're a fan of the Alien franchise and are itching for a new game in the Alien universe (especially if you're dreading the long wait for the release of Alien: Isolation 2), this game does scratch that itch. It is very enjoyable killing the hordes of xenos, synths, and pathogens that are thrown your way. Plus the new enemy archetypes the developers came up with look amazing and are fun to fight against. Also a side note, if you want the iconic sounding Pulse Rifle, you have to unlock the "Classic" version (It unlocks at level 10 of your overall rank). The base Pulse Rifle that you start with is generic sounding and understandably it annoys those that want that Aliens movie feel.
I was a big fan of the first game and I like this game too, even with the bugs and issues it has. What I don't understand is why everyone has to be picky about every little thing, not just the major bugs, people need to remember that this game just released and like many other games has release day issues that will be fixed, overall I think it's worth it. Side note, I would like to see the phalanx reappear in this game with the sheild and onslaught abilities.
This game was just released to early. Between Aliens getting stuck in walls, your AI team running around like their on crack and having ants in their pants. weapon damage needs a definite rework, team just standing there while your getting attacked, special damage type doing next to nothing for damage if anything, and there's a few other things that are just my personal issues with the writing for your main NPC's but that's just my take. Hopefully these are taken care of but for 50$ it should have been more polished. I think in time it will get fixed but i would just wait a month or two and see if its a better product to buy. A plus.. is the Machinists Turret, its your best team mate!!!
I have to disagree with most of the negative reviews, this game is amazing! The graphics are gorgeous, gameplay feels more intense and dangerous than the first one and the decal customization is so fun to play around with. I personally haven't experienced any groundbreaking bugs that have ruined my gameplay experience and even if i stumble across one, I have high confidence the fixes will be implemented quick smart for a game that literally released 3 days ago.. Don't let the negative reviews sway your decision, great price for this gem of a game you are going to spend hours in with mates slaying xenomorph scum.
Needs some updated to fix couple of aspect... But game is playable and good so far... Similar to first part, like a continuation but is ok... Price isn't fair enough, I think was very expensive for what it brings. it must not pass from 30 bugs$
Seems to play exactly the same as the original. It has all the exact same gameplay loops and jank just with a fresh coat of paint added on top. I loved the original, but I also waited for a sale for that game. I am immeasurably disappointed in the nearly total lack of improvement from one title to the next I know I'll love this game once it has a little more time in the oven and the price comes down a little too. Until then I must request a refund while I still can.
