About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Reviews
I will probably change my review some time later, but here's what I got for now. As of this comment, the game's not really doing anything super innovative or crazy- in fact, it feels more like a Fireteam Elite 1.5 than a full sequel. Sure, there's more aliens and the attachment/perk system is more streamlined, but the game doesn't have a lot of difference with weapons or enemies (but there are a small chunk more, which still is a step in the right direction), it has enemies clipping, there's WAY too many quips, and there's the occasional hitch in framerate. Let's not forget the unskippable cutscenes/dialogue, given to us through characters with sometimes very off-putting facial animations (Here's to you, Wrench). The good things I can say about this game: It's more atmospheric, and it's a step up in difficulty- no longer can you just blast a whole room instantly and not worry about health, there's hordes and hordes of enemies all moving differently, and they're all attacking you with different timing/varieties. Good reason to stay moving, and have some variance in your gear. I'd love to have a more challenging and complex Fireteam Elite once this game gets more polished (we can be hopeful), but for now I'd recommend just playing the first game instead.

What did you expect... Its AFE2, If you liked AFE you will like this. I mean its got a few teething issues, yes the script writing is a bit arse.. but other than that its kind what I wanted and expected. Gave me a stiffy 10/10
Game is great. the 1st game with more QOL and upgrades. Story is alright, but i focus on more of the gameplay for this title.
Needs some updated to fix couple of aspect... But game is playable and good so far... Similar to first part, like a continuation but is ok... Price isn't fair enough, I think was very expensive for what it brings. it must not pass from 30 bugs$
love the game so far need a lot optimization but love it anyway.
Resupply or die, folks.
what can i say i never give a good review i love this game everything in it but its to broken online co op nope its majorly got some bugs needs to be smoothed out like a lot lot is it a good game well yes its a very good game all the content i feel its just on the margin of asking to much for the money then theres the other bug the weapon damage isnt right none of them fit right they got guns that fire like a tank cannon but hit like a nerf polyester bullet lol seriously they put the graphic in for a massive explosion and it tickles the aliens lol its got all the right stuff just the wrong way its a great game i hope they fix it like quickly and smooth it out cause it needs sand paper right now but other than that i love it
I enjoy this game. It's fun. For the love of ♥♥♥♥, let us leave Horde Mode matches without forfeiting the reward. I'm sick of losing all progress because my braindead team wanted to stay and it forced me to die with their stupid asses.
The Gameplay is great, the storyline and the 'girlboss' narration is the most atrocious crud I've ever heard. I'm going through the game with a friend and we are having a good time but the "OMG WOW GREAT JOB PEW PEWING THOSE BIG BAD BUGS" stuff is agonizingly bad, every guy seems to be a dim-wit idiot totally dependent on the women while all the women in charge are each freakishly over the top with trying to be tough or over the top bimbo dialogue, there's no in-between. It really leaves you lost on what's actually happening beyond killing bugs and synths. I honestly don't know how to rate this game because of this, every bit of dialogue completely takes me out of the setting. If you want a good co-op shooter then yes, i would recommend, if you're looking for some aliens grimness that matches the setting, you're not going to find anything like Corporal Hicks or Private Vasquez anywhere in this game just some questionable characters who make 0 sense. I think I'm gonna recommend against this game, buy it on sale. For 50USD (49.99) in the U.S. I'd expect some sense to be made in the story
While there are some definite upgrades from the first Aliens: Fireteam Elite, and while there are certainly some work to be done to call it a worthy successor to the first game, I think the replay value is high enough to warrant a recommendation. The weapons feel good, the Xenomorphs are far less predictable, the sense of danger even on Standard is high, and the dopamine hit on a headshot will definitely keep me coming back. For the reviewers that comment on all of the female characters... I'm not sure what you were expecting from the Alien franchise, a franchise that is notorious for female characters—Ellen Ripley, Amanda Ripley, Call (Winona Ryder, Alien: Resurrection) Daniels (Alien: Covenant), Rain (Alien: Romulus), Hayes (Aliens: Dark Descent)—just to name a few. I do agree that the player character female models could use a lot more variety, for sure. But the characters are fine, and if you have a problem as a player taking orders from a female character, that says pages more about you than it does about them.
