Aliens: Colonial Marines Collection

An (still) okayish Millenial Shooter with decent (sometimes even impressive) atmosphere (setting, light & sound), seasoned with a fair ammount of Kosher Cringe...for "Alien"-Fans a must have (at sale), everyone else: Take a look first.

This game is so weird. There's obviously a lot of love for the source material... but the rest of the game is bad. I learned that the Aliens Colonial Marines Overhaul is incompatible with the DLC, so I did a fresh install to play it. I realized: DON'T USE THE OVERHAUL MOD! It removes mechanics like the acid blood, tries (but fails IMO) to rebalance the game, and causes crashes. 5/10

It's good, but you will get tired of the Pulse Rifle Sound, VERY quickly.

Very nice Campaign Coop game. That's the way we like it! But really your Demo was so great and the final result of graphics and movement is really cheeky - thats definitely not what we like.

Nicht Perfekt, macht aber trotzdem Laune. Ich mag Popcorn-Kino-Games. Auch gut gealtert, nur die Zwischensequenzen sind zu niedrig Aufgelöst, das Spiel sieht dafür in 4k gleich viel besser aus.

I played this the first time around and recently got it on steam again. With the mod everyone said to download I am loving it. It's a bit cheesy but the fact I die if an alien gets close really adds to the tension. If your tempted I'd say get it (in a sale obvs) and just enjoy the nostalgia. Never know we might get a proper remake one day.
