Discover the true meaning of fear in Alien: Isolation, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 16/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; GOG, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Reviews
la serie cinematografica di Alien è una delle mie preferite, con quei capolavori diretti da Scott, Cameron, Fincher e Jeunet. Questo gioco l’ho amato, lo xenonorfo è allucinante

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It has been exactly, 10 years, 3 months and 13 days; when I first purchased Alien Isolation as of this writing. Only just now, have I finally finished this game. The reason it took so long? It horrified me to no end. It didn't help that I was only 7 or so when I first saw the first Alien movie back in the 90's and had nightmares for a week thereafter. Ever since then, I have a sort of PTSD feeling towards the Alien, yet, the movies, the games, are simply too good to pass up. My first few hours when I played it a over a decade ago, was of pure horror, I would be hidden in a locker for 20 minutes easily, petrified to move. It took a lot out of me to confront this unreasonable fear I had of this game and power through it. I got the achievement for it on nightmare mode, 10 years later and still only 8% of people got this achievement, honestly, I am not surprised about this, the game truely tests you. Now about the game itself, visually, it looks exceptionally beautiful, even as now when I just finished it about 20 minutes ago as of this writing, I was taken back how good it looks even a decade later, as if it was made today. There are only a very few sections where the game shows its age with low res textures, but you really have to go looking for them. Level design is just amazing, good selection of equipment, the lighting, the atmosphere all close to perfection. The enemies are very well programmed, the Alien itself, seems to be constantly adapting to you, which just adds to the horror, the simple fact of knowing, that it will learn what you do... well, that just adds to the fear factor. I am also a historical Total War player, so it always amazes me that it was Creative Assembly that developed it, I can't say I am a fan of their recent titles, but this game, they totally nailed it. Its astonding to me that I only played 20 hours, which felt like an eternity to me. If you want pure horror, well this is definately the game. Good luck if you end up getting it, you will need it. But I can now say it... Its finally over, the nightmare is at long last over! I finally did it! Wh.., whats that you are telling me? Alien Isolation 2 has just been announced...?! ffffffffffffffFFFFFFFFFFFUUUU%%""%&!!!
its good
Mechanically sound, satisfying haptic sound design, game looks as great as it plays. Has more than just the alien, and gameplay consists of diverse tactical loops that keeps gameplay feel fresh and interesting.
