Ale & Tale Tavern

This game is so fun! A mix of being a bar wench, cook, and adventurer! It's multiplayer! The only problem I have found is when going in certain areas getting stuck or if in the portal area if I get pushed on the stairs landing then I fall out of the map and have to start over again.

i played through this with my wife and we had a blast together. theres some funny pacing mid-way, you get loaded with new recipes but often times dont have the ingredients to actually make them but it could come down to our playstyle who knows. some really funny writing in the dialogue too, there was a few times we were giggling hearing from an NPC

i must say that this game is quite fun and the game is quite cozy. especially when you have friends even though the game going to feel repetitive at some point there's still some activity you can do like exploring while things are getting boring. and the dev still updating the game. while the combat is not that good, the voice acting, the exploration, and the story probably not like how people expect it to be. i find the game is quite unique and has it own charms.

Played on my own and had a blast playing this game! The balance between running your tavern and questing/hunting is pretty spot on. The first twenty hours--there are simply so many things you could do. Whether it's fishing, farming, combatting, or gathering--pick your poison! Played this game after the dungeon upgrade so by the time I hit the final boss I was holding a legendary battle hammer that trivialized the fight, but combating could be challenging if you are not used to circling to the back/dodging/moonwalking to avoid damages from the mobs. And I must say, I'm an experienced ARPG player, but I still got quite spooked at the cave for the final boss. Kudos to the developer for creating the ambience. The quest board is repetitive for sure, but understandable as this is a light game. The update that introduces uncommon/rare/legendary gradient items allows for more hours to be invested in this game. But I think even if you hit 100% on all aspects of the game, it's fun and relaxing to just open your tavern for business after you come back home from work IRL. I imagine it'd be more fun playing with a friend as taverning can be a bit hectic before you get owl helpers.
