Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Overall a better experience than AOE2 imo. The mechanics are great and responsive and the ever changing updates and dlc are good too. Recommended for sure.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The best AOE I've ever played!!! The mechanics, the campaigns, the civilizations, the asymmetry... I decided to give a try to the previous AOE again to be able to catch the difference in the freshest manner possible. It led me to the conclusion that AOE IV is by far the best one: the resource management, the tactics, the difference in productivity and battle power of each civilization is just astounding. It allows you to exploit the best characteristics of each one of the civs. It could seem to be too asymmetrical and thus unfair... but it isn't, I'm positive that you can match any civ with another in equal chances on wining. It really just depends on strategy. That alone speaks highly of the game. Just add the immense amount of historic content and you have a playable library in your hands. I cannot compliment enough the game. Love it.
