Recommended but must be taken with a grain of salt. I'm quite surprised how much I enjoyed playing a crab adventure. The world has interesting connections with pollution, ancient tribal culture and life on tropical islands. The graphics and sound are similar to the 16bit era, so keep that in mind. The gameplay can be repetitive and there are a lot of fetch quest type of back and forth tedium. The combat was decent and the boss fights pretty neat, but nothing groundbreaking. There are some technical issues (crashed once when I died) and the save system is annoying. If you can get past that, then this is a neat little two hour adventure for a low price.

The crab-with-a-boomerang premise is charming and genuinely unique, but the execution drags it down. Controls initially shipped without a proper scheme and reportedly only got fixed after players emailed the publisher directly, and even now the aiming feels a bit off, forcing constant repositioning during fights; controls also can't be rebound. The crab's slow movement speed compounds the bigger issue: a lot of fetch-quest backtracking across screens with no map and few in-game hints, which turns exploration into tedious repetition rather than discovery. There's also a reported boss-fight bug on island 2 where the boss's health bar drains instantly before the fight even really starts, cutting the encounter short. Tightening the pacing (faster movement or shorter backtracks), adding a map, and fixing the boss health bug would go a long way toward letting the game's fun, weird concept shine through.
