Dig Dug on steroids
幹!!!這個20塊錢小遊戲真的很毒 早些年有一款Motherload 玩法一樣 但是這個版本略為擴充了些 個人極推^^"~
Very fun. Bought it because it reminded me alot of, and was probably inspired by Mega miner, a flash game I used to play back in 2010s or smth. I didn't expect it to have such a good story, it's definitly this game's strong point. I found the gameplay fun despite being repetitive, you dig, get ores, upgrade to go get more ores, but it keeps throwing challenges as well as lore the whole time to keep it interesting. It's still a very simple game, one that I can turn my brain off while playing.
Hate those stupid plants tho
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

好玩,有趣的挖礦遊戲
Found this game in the sidebar of some site that hosted old flash games, whilst playing it's predecessor Motherlode for old time's sake. If you want an experience that gives you the same mechanics of Motherlode, but with modern QoL features like a larger FoV, a more complex upgrade system, default discarding of your lowest ore instead of the high-tier one you just mined, and not requiring an account on a game-hosting site you'll forget about to save, this game will be something to chew on. I like that the steampunk elements present aren't overbearing. The fashion and architecture are inspired by the industrial revolution, full of gizmos and greebles that serve some esoteric purpose in-universe beyond the main character's desire to comment on. Still, these widgets do not take up more space than they're welcome to, so the world comes off as more thought-out than the genre's typical hodgepodge of pointless gears and chainless sprockets. It's refreshing. The story was fated to be not that compelling to me specifically. I'm a Union man, the boss can stay buried for scabbing a laborer's position in that mech. Then again, I too am playing his scabbing son. Regardless, it's clear to see that there was MUCH more effort put in to writing this than was expected of a game of this price point. I'm especially fond of how the artifacts are gradually translated as you pick up their pieces. The characters portray their personality very well, and all have a decent amount of conversations for the importance of their role in the story. None of them overstay their welcome and I think they would be quite fun to see in a more traditional story medium as well. At time of writing, I think I'm near the end of the story game. Once that's done, I'm going to see if I can hollow out the play area. Nothing bad could possible come of my decisions, right? The only thing I would add to this game (besides mention of what this universe's miners union thought of the whole thing, as unions were MUCH more prominent in the era between the two world wars than they are today) would be some tasks that involve collecting specific ores. This game does not escape the trap of "just get as much of the best thing as you can" gameplay trap, meaning that anything above the lowest layer you have available is irrelevant for the rest of the game once you've found all the treasures there. Perhaps the special upgrades could be fully unlocked by giving specific ores to the mechanic in combinations that can only be found many layers apart? Overall, this is a lovely game. I hope the creators do more with this setting in the future.
Usually I try to wait until I finish a game before leaving a review but I'm pretty frustrated to the point where I'm just going to leave my negative opinion now instead of later. If my opinion changes by the time I finish I'll update but I highly doubt it since my criticisms are about the gameplay. I don't know if these are known bugs or whatever but sometimes my mech will just freeze. The game itself won't freeze and I can still open the menu but I can't move in any direction - doesn't matter if I try to use m+k or controller. The only thing I can do is close the game out and reopen it, losing whatever progress I had before my mech froze. This even happened when I was on the surface, so it's not like I was colliding with things and getting stuck, I just' couldn't walk around anymore. Another bug I keep encountering is the feature on the radar showing danger zones just randomly turning off. The key/button to toggle it on or off won't work and this particular bug actually persist through a game restart; the only way to fix it is to run back to the garage and unequip then re-equip the accessory. It is such a PITA when you are trying to accomplish something and you need to run back to the surface - it completely kills the flow of the game. One of the bugs seems to have been reported a little more than 2 years from my search queries; it's a shame it hasn't been patched yet. But the one thing I absolutely hate is how imprecise the movement is and I'm sure it's this particular thing that is not a bug but a feature. So many times I'm moving slowly or carefully only for the mech to just drill into a block I DO NOT want it to go into. You can try to cancel the movement but half the time the damn thing just goes on its OFP. I've had times where I would tap super slow trying to squeeze past a small corridor, surrounded by clusters of ice/mines/lava/whatever only for the mech to suddenly jolt forward into death when I'm not even 1/4 of the way into the next block, killing me. It's lame AF. I'm convinced it was designed this way because this game it otherwise super freaking easy. I hate that it came to this, because outside of the BS the game genuinely can be fun, I love pixel art and I do try to support real indie devs - but the bugs + terrible design choice when it came to player movement really takes you out of the game in a rather jarring and abrupt manner. I got it on sale for like $2-$3 USD and I do think it's "fine" for the price but I can't give it a good faith recommendation when I find myself always frustrated at certain things.
