Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Quite beautiful, but very short. Took me exactly 2 hours to beat and I don't think I was rushing it. Played it entirely in VR (with UEVR), so that added to the experience. I got it on -75% and I think that's the fair price for what it is. On full price it's definitely not worth it in my opinion. But if you see it on a sale and want a game just to relax and explore the underwater world with some very basic puzzles - then I would recommend it.

Absolutely stunning. You can tell a lot of heart, soul, and care went into the game. I expected less depth and more task based puzzle solving. And while puzzle solving is a core part of this game. It’s mostly a visual novel. The storyline is immaculate- I genuinely was not expecting such a heartwarming rollarcoaster of a storyline. I became quite emotionally attached to the characters, definitely more than I thought I would. The gameplay is absolutely gorgeous and cannot be understated . Its very impressive both in art and storytelling. The controls were a bit of a learning curve to get used too but I love the unique choice they made, it creates very fluid movement and a feeling of feather like swimming. Overall my expectations were highly exceeded, I was not expecting any storyline or emotional investment but there were many moments that stunned me.
One of the most breathtaking cinematic story games ever made.
The plot is simple to follow, the game's magnificent cinematic re-creation of the oceans are stunning. It always felt like I was playing the game again for the first time after I finished playing it, even though I grew up watching gameplay videos of it ever since I was 7. (I've been watching this since the game came out) The lush hidden world of the ocean also regarding accurately designed fish that actually live in the ocean and even down to what breeds are in groups and what aren't. They give you an educational aspect, mixing both technical, logical, and even cinematic and artistic views that make a story game astounding. The story-line is amazing with the hidden symbolism and clear gist on when the story-line is at it's climax and hidden foreshadowing regarding story. The most amusing thing is even the name has a hidden meaning behind it: Abzu literally meaning "deep water." This game embodies diving in waters and the sense of the unknown of the ocean, which this game is a literal call to all ocean nerds and insanely accurate.
Modern day 2-hour Opera for Normies who can't go to an actual one with an excellent visual treat.
These types of games are hard to write review by because it's incredibly difficult to put such a mesmerizing expression of art in words. Yes, this is not your typical "game" per se, more of a sandbox with pretty linear way of progress and normally I wouldn't play these games but by chance Exo One changed my life. I was just looking for a flying game and I accidentally picked up Exo One and then I started to look more into these games and also loved Before Your Eyes & Journey. This definately is going in that list. Something changes with a good music direction in these games. As soon as the right music plays, all judgements disappear and you are ingroessed in the game.
Constantly getting shocked was really fun. Only to the ultimate shock and lose my only friend in this game.
Very beautiful game and felt unique compared to other games that I have played. Gameplay loop is repetitive but all the interesting animals and scenery keep you going.
I asked for a refund. I can understand that for some people this can be relaxing but for me it was most annoying. From the screenshots I was expecting better graphics, the controls were finicky, and the non-stop music ridiculously annoying. Why on earth doing a game were you can't mute the music and just leave the environment sound?! Well, try it for yourself, but for me it was a big no!
i find myself randomly thinking about this game even 5 years later. not alot of games can fill me with this kind of wonder but it left a permanent mark. i'm not gonna say it's the best indie game out there but it touched me very deeply for some reason. maybe because it's beautiful to look at? maybe because there's a profound message that never gets said directly? possibly the fact that every experience feels special and meaningful which makes you eager to move to the next area... but sad to leave the current one. what a game
