Amazing game, especially with friends. Gameplay is fluid and simple to learn, no complicated mechanics to master(which is think is good). Progression is simple, you unlock "skills" which either boost your stats or give you more+better rewards during runs. Skills are permanent and are fast and easy to unlock(a bit grindy though) which is something I like. Spamming 3 with a friend becomes a habit during boss fights..... Something that is definitely holding it back is that it gets TOO easy quick. Even after going to deeper water levels and buffing the enemies and nerfing your means of survival. A perfect choice for people comfortable with FPS shooter gameplay and want to get into rouge-like and build-crafting games. <<<<<<<<<<<<<SPOILER DOWN>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> TRUE FORM FINAL BOSS FIGHT IS AMAZING
High-end gameplay. Movement feels similar to Doom but the combat is generally more simple. The visual style of this game feels very old school but with modern fidelity.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

pretty good game, has a great gameplay loop, plenty of secrets, fantastic gun design with modular components, good meta progression, and feels great in co op. i have semi major complaint, though, which is that a couple of the elements you can choose seem far and away better than others. it has been a minute since i played, but i specifically remember blood and ice being exceptional, and everything else being fine to below expectations. that, combined with some guns/gun mods being objectively stronger, made runs feel somewhat similar. of course, you could just not use those every time, but are you really a gamer if you dont optimize the fun out of something?
Solid co-op roguelike shooter, can be played solo but much better with more. Game gets really easy once you unlock all the relics but they do a good job scaling the difficulty with the brine canister. 82/100

Abyssus, even only ~10 hours in, has captivated me far beyond my expectations. With a blend of smooth movement, crunchy gunplay and gorgeous graphics that somehow don't become overwhelming in the onslaught of brineborne enemies, the game is an exhilerating and high-octane experience that feels consistently fair and leaves enough in your hands as the player to take control of your builds, rely on your sharpshooting skills and come out on top. The telegraphed attacks make boss fights incredibly fun and particularly satisfying when you get into the rhythm of their attack patterns, and the elemental variants of each boss that can show up when you start activating Deep Water modifiers only add to the replayability, forcing you to stay on your toes and learn a new move in the dance you came to know. The upgrade system is intuitive and bears limitless potential, with each upgrade Aspect being applicable to and expandable on each of your three modes of attack (primary/secondary fires and your equipped ability/gadget) to the length of a whole upgrade tree with Minor and Major blessings that actually reward you for committing to an Aspect. The Lightning tree continues to be an absolute monster. And the weapons themselves, on top of having gorgeous steampunk designs right out of Bioshock, are incredibly customizable. Each weapon has a primary fire and secondary fire mode, and each mode has three distinct weapon mods. You can mix and match them however you'd like and they all feel feasible to use from what I've unlocked so far. No matter what you've got equipped, you can be a contender with the right upgrades and decent Doom Eternal-style arena mobility. And the arenas themselves are absolutely breathtaking, especially the area leading up to the final(?) boss. Your eyes are in for a real treat with some of the most evocative and lush environments I've seen in a game like this. You'll want to stop and smell the roses a bit when you get to that near-final area, please just trust me and don't get yourself spoiled. The gravitas of your first time arriving is irreplaceable. This is a game that takes care of you from the start to the finish of your experience with it over the course of even just a single run, and I've even only played solo. This is not a game you'll want to miss; I can't believe I almost did. 10/10. I love you, Abyssus.
Tight aiming, nice graphics, interesting weapons but same enemies, 1st boss a mega sponge, underwhelming power upgrades during runs imho (6% increase for example), and just rooms where there's no rewards/roguelite elements which makes it grindy. Coming from Deadzone Rogue (great game), was hoping this was as good. It's similar but as noted, feels less interesting. It is co-op , and having only played single player, perhaps co-op is where this shines, but not for me in single sadly. I wanted to like it but it's sadly it's a bit bleh. Still going to give thumbs up but very slightly for me.
I have killed god with only a Fish and the Spear I caught the fish with. Extremely fun and whacky boomshoot roguelite, made even more fun with friends. If you like whacky weapons and mods ala Ratchet and Clank, Painkiller or Renmant this is a must play. If you like Roguelites, Boomer shooters and/or arena shooters of old, you should consider playing this. If you want a fun time with friends this can be a great choice for just that.
