Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 30/day in the week to Sep 1 → 34.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Home to the world's greatest minds, GATE operates a global network of secretive research laboratories, spanning every field of scientific study - and the realms beyond.
As a GATE employee you extend the bounds of human knowledge, and seek to explain the unexplainable - including anomalies and paranormal entities: from gravity-distorting artifacts to supernatural creatures with an unbridled instinct for violence. Safety, security, and secrecy are of the utmost importance… usually.
After a catastrophic containment breach, your workplace has become a cosmic battle zone: anomalous entities are on the loose, enemies from other dimensions are invading via portals, and an arcane military sect - known as The Order - is targeting personnel and entities indiscriminately, aiming to seize artifacts and put an end to the chaos.
Containment procedures have failed and help isn’t on the way. Stranded miles beneath the surface, it’s up to you and your fellow scientists to band together, plan your escape, and make this underground complex your new home - for now.

Abiotic Factor brings a 90’s sci-fi twist and rich character progression to the multiplayer open world survival crafting genre. Up to 6 players can choose their PhDs, build their scientist, gear up, and explore a massive subterranean complex, filled with supernatural artifacts, transdimensional foes, and science experiments gone awry.

Between alien threats hunting their next meal, trigger happy soldiers, and the world’s most advanced robotic security forces attacking personnel working overtime, there’s no shortage of danger. As a scientist, fighting isn’t your forte, so you’ll need to put your PhD to work to outwit your opponents: craft ingenious and outlandish tools, weapons and gear, from simple nets and wooden bats to laser-cannons and elaborate traps - everything your big science brain can muster!

Make yourself at home - you’re here for the long haul. Scavenge resources from vacant offices and empty labs, raid vending machines, and steal company property to build a new base of operations as you explore the facility. When it’s time for a change of scenery, pack up your belongings and move them across the facility using handcarts, forklifts, SUVs, teleporters, and more.

Don your lab coat and earn your PhD: from Phytogenetic Botanist to Defense Analyst and Archotechnic Consultant (and many, many more), each with its own advantages essential to survival. Combine traits and skills, then level up to earn perks and abilities with your fellow scientists to forge a formidable scientific force.

Working at GATE may have been a dream job, but dying here wasn’t part of your five year plan. Explore this massive underground facility as well as many worlds beyond and take full advantage of the most advanced technology unknown to mankind in this interdimensional sci-fi adventure!

Literally holding my pc together rn, without this game open in the background my laptop has constant bsod, constant app crashes and browser pages dying as well, ive logged so many hours on this game since its all i can run rn and i love it so much
I haven't played a survival craft in a while. I get easily bored, and usually as long as I have the bare basics, I don't even bother to make a nice base. Honestly, I didn't want to play it because "how the heck is it open world but in a lab?" Boy, was I wrong. Abiotic Factor changed all of that. I haven't felt this much enthusiasm for a game in a while. I hope the devs make more updates because it's only been 80 hours but I can totally say I'll always be a fan of this. Best crafting, so much to do, so much to explore. Everything is amazing.

Best survival game (In my humble opinion)
Huge game made with love. A survival/crafting game with tons of exploration, shamelessly wrapped in Half-Life 1 aesthetics and atmosphere. Much less SCP than I expected even though it's clearly inspired by it. While its progression feels linearesque, the options in crafting and the many more or less hidden paths makes me feel creative when I get through it. My biggest gripes with the game are: - Vehicles have stronger engines going backwards than they do forwards. Braking and backing up reacts faster than accelerating forwards from having gone backwards. Trying to back up and then forward feels like wading in glue. I hate it. It feels so wrong. - You can't quickly just glance at a thing, like a door or an item you want to pick up, and quickly interact with it. You'll see the prompt for interaction but if you're too fast, it won't register unless you spend a few more frames looking at it. It happens all the time when I play. - The "GATEPAL" data thing you carry is atrocious to use. I don't mind its very 90-esque art style, but navigating it is needlessly clumsy. Whenever you learn something new a notification shows in the corner telling you to press "J" to read more. But J only opens up the GATEPAL, it doesn't take you directly to what's new. And then you have to try to understand where to go, what category something is hiding. It's annoying enough for me to mostly not bother and I'm somebody who usually loves logs and backstory. Sometimes I get a notification with a name for something to find in the GATEPAL and I just can't for the life of me find it inside. - Making a blueprint. You get "ideas" for new gadgets, but you'll have to complete a mini-game where you put the right parts into a blueprint to make the actual blueprint. It's a novel idea, but in the end it's just faster to randomly brute force guess whatever parts you need which makes the mini-game superfluous. It serves no purpose other than show you what's new - something a shiny outline could do just as well. - The logs and lore often refer to things by their numerical representation instead of some suitable nickname. I can't remember any of those and the aforementioned GATEPAL makes it hard to follow along. - Heavily SCP-inspired backdrop that mostly translates into "generic monster who wants you dead and is weak to certain damage types". So far, anyway. Not very mysterious. Still imposing and scary, for sure. - This door cannot be opened from this side. I love the feeling of actually opening a door from the CORRECT side, which usually means I've unlocked a shortcut, but sometimes the amount of one-way doors get ridiculous. Inventory size can be adjusted and blueprint mini-game disabled in the "sandbox settings" for your save, so that's nice. I didn't like the mechanic of the carts so I basically just increased my inventory size instead. I still have to deal with weight, which I think is enough "management" for me.
Лучший сюжетный выживач в который я играл за всё время
Лучшая шпиля в которую играл за долгие годы, на уровне терарии не меньше, прошел в соло, немного скучновато, в пати наверное будет пушка 10\10.
Very good game that you don't want to miss out on

Just a simulator of an average day in Black Mesa.
Story - 7.5/10
Surprisingly enough, the story is pretty good, considering it's a damn survival. But it keeps you relatively engaged, has some neat plot twists, and has you travel through a lot of different "biomes", be it different departments of the GATE, or straight up different universes. Different recurring NPCs, with a small side stories of their own, also help the narrative. It's linear, there are barely any choices to make, but it works surprisingly well. The formula is simple: you get to a new location -> you receive some major quest of what you're supposed to do in this location in order to progress to the next -> you go through the gameplay loop of usual survival gameplay in a new biome. Think Valheim, but with a bit of extra steps and fixed locations.
Gameplay - 7.5/10
Nothing mind blowing in terms of combat or base building, but it is pretty diverse and fun. You have ranged and melee options. You get to progress from just using whatever stuff you can salvage and turn into makeshift gear, and all the way to experimental, pure sci-fi ♥♥♥♥. Starting off with a bucket for a helm, shield made of cafeteria trays, makeshift crossbow made from rubber bands and rulers, shooting sharpened pencils... and then ending up with hardlight swords, laser guns and black hole grenades. Building is relatively limited, especially compared to it's peers. You barely build anything other than workbenches, chests, farms and barricades. So if you're here to make some sick base builds to share with the community - feel free to move along; this is not where the game shines. The best part, imo, is the whole premise of you not starting off as butt-naked guys stranded somewhere, having to punch wood and slowly progress from stone age technologies, somehow all the way to modern ♥♥♥♥. You are a bunch of scientists, office workers who got stuck in their office and forced to survive as it's being invaded by visitors from other dimensions. Meaning that you have access to a lot of already made stuff, which you can salvage and repurpose. You have PCs to dismantle, you have metal and other more complex materials, you can loot guns and alien materials. In short - it feels fresh, it feels unique in a sense that you're like Mark Watney from The Martian. Stranded, doomed to die, but having access to a lot of high tech stuff and an intellect to use it.
Graphics - 7/10
Let me make one thing straight: I am NOT a big fan of retro style graphics. In this particular case, though, it's clear what this game used as inspiration and tried to reference. GATE is reimagined Black Mesa, so naturally the game does it's best to look like Half Life 1, in every little way, WHILE managing to keep it's own identity and look unique enough. So... credit where credit is due - it actually worked. Take it from someone who doesn't like retro visuals and is not even a fan of Half Life. If even I enjoyed it, maybe it's worth a try =)
Sound - 7/10
There isn't too much to say here; there's no banger soundtrack or too much of voice acting, or some dramatic moments. But overall, it's good. Just like graphics, it had a style it was trying to replicate, and it succeeded.
Conclusion
7.5/10. If you want a fully procedurally generated sandbox world, to make your bases from scratch and keep making them bigger and better... It's not this kind of game. It's a linear story, but with survival core gameplay loop. You can't just go from point A to point B, kill everyone you meet and interact with the quest objective. You need to farm resources, get better gear, and proceed through each new location whilst opening shortcuts in soulslike fashion. And whenever you complete an objective, you progress the story (yes, actual story, not a notion of one) forward. Great in coop, most likely good in single player, too.
