Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 28 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Your train is your only refuge in an endless frozen world. When you die, another passenger steps forward and takes your place. As long as survivors remain, your journey continues. Rescue trapped passengers scattered in abandoned facilities across Inara and build up your society one survivor at a time.

It's your base, your shelter, and everyone aboard's last chance at survival. Explore the exomoon Inara solo or in co-op with up to 4 players.

Your mission for survival lies above everything. Venture into dangerous locations filled with valuable resources, technology, hidden secrets, and unforgiving battles. But if you explore for too long, you may risk losing everything.

The train's battery recharges while it's moving and drains when it stands still. Every expedition and every decision you make revolves around this single rule. Manage your train's power, maintain its systems, and never let the battery reach zero or your journey ends. Move or freeze.

Conquer Inara by crafting new weapons, armor, tools, gliders, and essential machinery. Expand and upgrade your train as you push farther along the tracks. Attach hundreds of new wagons to increase storage, boost production, and build out your own logistics.

Your glider puts eyes in the sky over the frozen landscape before you ever set foot on it. Scout new locations, harvest rare isotopes for crafting, and identify threats from above by deploying scan drones into the depths of Inara.
Abandoned facilities, deadly anomalies, and survivors waiting to be rescued are scattered across a procedurally generated world that never repeats. Every run brings new routes, new dangers, and new reasons to keep the train running.
The exomoon is called Inara because the community chose that name. The lore exists because players helped us refine it. Throughout Early Access, EverRail is built alongside the players. Features, systems, game balance, and story will continue to evolve based on the community that keeps the train running.

I didn't have to play for long to notice some very problematic mechanics. It left me asking questions like: "If we can colonize a planet, why don't we have batteries?" "Do I have a parasite that forces me to eat every five minutes?" and "How many status bars am I supposed to keep track of?" Unfortunately, the art direction and visual language feel lacking given being on a different planet and a robotic world. More often than not, I got a distinctive AI-generated feel rather than the sense of a handcrafted world. The UI and gameplay systems suffer from being overly complex for a game where minutes quickly dissolve into seconds. This ties directly into the biggest issue: pacing. The game starts with little explanation or ramp-up and instead feels like a constant series of arbitrary countdown timers. In my opinion, the game needs a serious overhaul, starting with its story development. Even in the short time I played, I was immediately aware of what was missing—from the lack of weight and gravity in movement and physics, to the absence of force and momentum in the train itself, to environments that feel basic, overlit, and inconsistent in both style and scale. From the very beginning, I was bombarded by a UI that resembles a cluttered website filled with pop-ups. This game needs to be more than timers. The world needs to be more than a track. The characters need to be more than bodies inside environmental suits. In an open-world game, the world should be beautiful enough to inspire exploration, challenging enough to inspire determination, and deep enough to inspire curiosity. Everrail just isn't there yet.

the premise is great. I dont mind its an indie low budget visuals and mechanics. I refunded for two reasons: 1. its grilling my 4080 super and there are no options that could make it stop grilling. 2. after 40 min I could clearly see theres not enough to it. unfortunatelly
The game isn't bad, but the developer's strange manic obsession with turning the player into an insatiable cadaver that has to be fed every 10–15 minutes so it doesn't starve to death—that's not normal. The game already has a fair number of mechanics and activities, but some of them suffer because of the hunger issues. For example, you can't fly far from the train on a glider, because for some reason you can't eat while on the glider, and after 15 minutes the character will die of hunger. So all the upgrades for glider range and cargo capacity are useless—you still can't actually make use of them. Apparently, in one of the patches they added the option to adjust hunger in the settings, but for some reason they severely capped the lower limit, making the setting essentially pointless. In another patch, they added an auto-feeder with a limited number of uses. It's just a weird fixation on eternal insatiability.
I am giving this game a good review, based on my hour long playthrough and the idea that the dev will continue updating and adding to it. It is based on a very interesting concept and has potential. But it also needs a lot of work to be fun. What the game needs: 1) More than just one biome. Players need more to look at than a white backdrop 2) Oasis in the snow that have geothermal vents to charge the train. Players need a break from the timers 3) Some kind of wildlife POI. We need more than just ration packs 4) External events. Obstacles on the tracks. Riding through bandit camps. Robots attacking the train. Beyond all this, I think the player needs additional real world objectives. The train/energy mechanic is interesting, but it would be better if there were substation POIs where clearing them out and restoring power would have a permanent effect on the track in that area. Perhaps not consuming power, recharge faster, or deplete slower. This would be difficult to implement on an infinite procedural map, however. Looking forward to see what may become of this game. As it stands now though, its playable but bland, and the game loop appears to get repetitive quickly.
EverRail has an interesting concept and is definitely a change of pace for the survival genre, but it overwhelms that concept with too many systems that need constant attention. Instead of making me excited to survive and progress, it makes survival feel tedious
1st, I wanna say this game can have good potential if dev really focus on balancing/testing there thing instead of just throwing it in there. Cause that's what It really feel like. I know it's EA, but comeon, there is adjustement to make and nonesense that make you wonder what It was there in the 1st place. The concept is nice, but how it is right now, it's totally not enjoyable. Even with the custom setting (the crutial one are not there) it make the game very very very annoying to play. So I do not recommand in it's state. wait till they fix the issue that should'nt have been an issue in the 1st place. Energy: you have to be on constant move for crafting. the crafting energy cost for a little thing drain your battery very fast. The train will recharge relatively fast, but it need to always move. So you'll be missing on alots of POI or needing to go backward/forward. Yes the game is infinite so you can just ignore and always go forward. But it's not fixing the issue. Some earlier recipe almost require you to have full charge to make a single item (2/4 MG/Wh) and more advance take twice your starting battery capacity.... You want to make a pistol 3. welp need to craft a single Alloy that require that 10 of this and this one need 10 of this aswell. It will cost you about 10MGWhr just to craft the gun and all its component. Can't wait to see the cost of the lvl 5 guns :/ Food: welp, you eat every 8-10 min 3-4 pieces of food you craft in the laboratory that took 2 normal ration each to craft. Equivalent of 9-12 ration you need to loot each 8-10 min. All passenger only eat 1 ration per about 30 min. So add that to the count. Not to mention you have to keep your train moving while crafting. so while that, no looting. Want to build in the train, well better not waste time as you'll ran out of food. There is no farming and no food slider option in the game. Its way off balanced. Your passenger eat 1 equivalent ration in 30 min while you have to eat equivalent of 21-26 per 30 min. Storage and building: The storage is so small due to the very small stack size(20 in general)(100 ammo/bolt). I eand up throwing almost throwing everything, because what I need is food. Scrap metal I have to much I don't loot anymore. and wire... its everywhere and I barelly use that at this state. NOW on the fun part. a small storage take about 2 width in space. the medium one, I kidd you not, it's about 6-8+ time wider and wait for it... it only add one row. it also take about half a side of a wagon, is 6 time bigger than a small one with only 2 row? Who designed that AI? The building is also so huge for nothing. some take 2 story high other don't so plan accordingly. The glider loadout building is glitched, There is some space between wall and building, so you cannot place a central floor panel. Completelly killing the 2nd story on that wagon. Every building is so big, that alots of thing are not compatible nor has space to build next to it. especially on the 2 1st waggon you have. some pipe on the wall blocking building access and the expedition wagon having about 8 loadout pod. while 7 aren't accessible if you play solo, but still there to take useless place (not accessible) then remove them please! Everything that is undeletable on the 1st and 2nd waggon could have been put on 1 wagon and left all the other one emptied and ready to be built on without having stuff blocking building in the middle of the train. The idea is great, but right now, it's way out of balance and even with the slider option. Crafting is bad, power management is bad, and the build on your train are too big and some make no sense to craft since they take way to much place than you benefit. In fact you downgrade x6 time while (upgrading) in size. Not sure how they haven't realized that. Look like it was generated by AI and a few command was forgotten and none of it got tested to see if it make sense. Why does a building that is 6-8x bigger only add twice capacity. Seriously, if a dev read this, answer me how this can be possible to implement stuff like that. EA is not an excuse for thing like that. You cannot add an upgraded storage that is 6x worst that the previous version.... seriously. I'll keep an eye out for update, but this game is totally shelved until devs really start to balance stuff up.
EverRail immediately reminded me of the TV series Snowpiercer, and that's a big compliment. The combination of keeping your train running, managing energy, and building up your mobile base creates a unique and engaging gameplay loop. I also enjoyed the extraction-style mechanics, where you have limited time to raid enemy bases and gather as much loot as possible before heading back. My only criticism is that the looting can become a bit repetitive. The enemy bases I've explored so far look very similar and feature the same enemies. Hopefully this becomes more varied as you progress further into the game. Overall, EverRail has a fresh concept with a lot of potential, and I'm excited to see how it evolves. Dann verhungert.
Unique Game. A moving train is your base. When the train is moving, it generates power for your base so your goal is to get the charge close to 100% before exiting the train to explore and loot. Before exiting the train, you must gear up and prepare for your expedition which is only as long as you have power on the train. Once the train runs out of power, it's game over so you need to make sure you are back to the train and you get the train moving before the time runs out. It's essentially an extraction type game. You leave the train, explore, loot and kill and then return to the train where you will upgrade and go out again. Two things that can kill you is the cold outside or hunger. You can unlock better suits that keep you warm so you can stay out longer. Food is easy to come by, The world is pretty massive and there is a lot of content in this game. Enemies I've seen so far are just robots who shoot back at you but they seem stupid and are easily killed. For the price, I'd would say get this game. At first, it can seem like a lot to learn but once you get going, it's a lot of fun. Oh, and did I mention your train can spit out a glider that you can fly around in?
