Abandoned Souls

Ein wirklich feines kleines Horrorgame. Atmosphärisch ganz toll gemacht ohne übertrieben viele Soundeffekte zu nutzen. Jumpscares sind da. Schön fand ich vor allem, dass man es durch die VHS Cam sieht und praktisch als Streamer durchläuft. Schwierig fand ich die Story, weil es ja dann wie so oft in einen - wir beschwören irgendwas - endet. Schade Schokolade, aber an sich völlig in ordnung. Kann man machen.

Great little horror game. First of all I'll start with the bad: Took me a second to figure out that i had to read the notes to progress as I missed the first note in the hospital. Not for the good: I was really surprised by this game, after the first jump-scare I was just expecting a constant jump-scare fest, but it actually had really good atmosphere and an interesting story. I would totally recommend to anyone who enjoys short walking simulator horror.

Abandon Souls ran incredibly smooth on PC with no performance issues, which made the experience even more immersive. The eerie sound design stood out the most — every creak, whisper, and distant echo added to the tense atmosphere and kept the fear alive from start to finish. The graphics were stunning for an indie horror title, with detailed environments and lighting that perfectly captured the game’s unsettling tone. Overall, this was a fantastic indie horror experience that delivers both quality and chills. Highly recommended for fans of the genre!
