The story is superbly peak. It is unbelievably beautiful in its characters, the soundtrack, and the art style. One critique is the gameplay: it is undeniably simple, and repetitive. It causes a very boring break between major story beats.

Rating ★★★☆☆ (3/5) "Waking Up" Simulator Leaving a negative review simply to balance out a rating that baffles me. The game sits at Overwhelmingly Positive, yet Steam's own achievement stats show nearly 40% of players quit before finishing the first chapter. I don't understand the praise for the story either. It moves forward almost entirely by having the main character wake up in a different place and time. It happens so often it becomes ridiculous, and that isn't clever writing, it's a shortcut. The gameplay is barebones too, mostly quick time events and fetch quests that feel like filler. Maybe it should have been a visual novel. The pixel art is lovely though, easily the best part.

Унылейший геймплей (принеси-подай), головоломок как таковых нет (все очевидно и упирается лишь в то, как тщательно ты облизываешь каждый пиксель), очевидный сюжетный "твист" с примесью шизофазии, стиль - для анимешников пойдет, но для нормальных людей нет. Девушка и ее проблемы - не вызывают у меня чувств, на против она мне показалась крайне раздражающей, хоть и разрабы старались вызвать слезодавку (имхо) 2/10
